Same number called this morning.
Lately, I've been answering & IMMEDIATELY hanging up on any number not programmed into my phone.
This signals to the auto-dialers that there is no active phone at that number.
It seems to have cut down on the number of calls I get.

You can call the Attorney General for SPAM calls. They'll have you fill out a form (a bit of a pain), but it's worth it, because then the AG sends the violator a letter stating that the next offense, they will be fined.

Yet another trip to Florida call.
Mike in MD 2012-12-04 20:17:26 Unknown
That is totally incorrect. Go to the FTC website for the Do Not Call list and read their FAQ. You do not have to tell the caller anything to report them. In fact, all automated message calls of this type are illegal and reportable unless you gave the company written permission to call you with a recorded message.
BTW, legitimate businesses do obey the DNC so chances are pretty good that most calls you receive are deceptive and a scam. When they originate outside of the US, they are very hard for the FTC to go after. However, they have had some success with the "lower credit card interest rate" scammers but they just see the fines as a cost of doing business.

Peppy-sounding recorded female voice was excited to say that I'd won a trip to Orlando. Gave me a claim code.
Caller ID showed the number as "Florida." The caller ID phone number (presumably not the real number) is out of order.

To whomever compiled these numbers, thank you very much. I run a tax preparation business so my phone number is out there and people call me all the time. I find it quite annoying to pick up the phone, quite often putting a tax client on hold, only to have to be pitched on something I have absolutely no interest in. I've gotten as many as a half dozen or more calls a day from people on this list and probably others who are not. And, yes, I have found the Do Not Call List is a joke.

Called, no msg. left

I read that before you can report someone for calling you on the DNC list, you have to write them a letter first requesting that they stop calling you -- which seems to defeat the whole purpose of having a DNC list.

Another faux-Disney call that I've won an all-expense-paid trip to Orlando.
I'm thinking the Do Not Call list is where these people are getting our numbers! I'd been getting so many calls recently that I went to the list to double-check that I was still on it. That action TRIPLED the number of calls I got this week. The government is not serious about resolving this issue...the Do Not Call list is just lip service. There is no enforcement.

"Let the Magic Begin! You have been selected for an all-expense-paid vacation in Orlando...."
Awful! Maybe Disney can accomplish what the government can't. I'm pretty sure Disney is not pleased that these scammers are implying that they are Disney-related! Can we sic the Disney lawyers on these people?? The National Do-Not-Call List is a huge bust, so maybe Disney would have more luck.

Why call an do not leave a message, try calling number back getting a fast busy/re-order. Name showing unknown.
Mar 2012-11-29 16:23:07 Unknown
The same exact thing just happened to me with this phone number.
Emily 2012-11-29 00:51:14 Unknown
Was told this number is spoofed. To get the real number call your phone carrier tell them the time and date and they can get the real number. Your caller I'd was spoofed into relaying a bad number. Lets file a class action law suit. Each illegal call pays some bucks for our harassment.

I keep getting these calls too. The digital display on my phone says "Name not Found", but when I scroll down, it gives a fake # of 1-321-756-2210. I'm fed up. Does anyone know how to stop this?

321-756-2210 came up as "Florida Call". Did not answer. No message left. I'm on DNC list.

Thank you so much for listing these numbers! Very helpful!
Cheers,
Alex

I spoke with Angel who offered me a Florida vacation at 90% off. She had no number to call her back. I asked about how she got my number and she had an answer that it was from one of three sources which were legal. I asked her another question and she hung up. When I called back there was a recording that said the number was no longer in service.

Answer and no one responds, tried calling Number back , get call can not be completed. Number calls several times a day.
Payback 2012-11-23 20:47:52 Unknown
On the contrary, if you get a good call blocker and feed in only the numbers you want ringing your phone, the scammers will be on your blockers do not call list till they rot.
Ed 2012-11-23 20:41:47 Unknown
Just another scam. Such folks use call out numbers ONLY ... hence the reason why you cannot call them back. If you talk to them, then you are on their list FOREVER. There is NO enforcement of the DNC list , and the criminals and scammers know it.
Arn 2012-11-23 16:40:27 Unknown
Called the day after Thanksgiving. I did not answer and they left no message. What a scam!
Blake 2012-11-21 22:08:30 Unknown

What a bunch of farking idiots.
Clearly everyone is given the claim number of 121. I pressed "1" to speak to a representative. When TJ answered the call (fresh out on parole no doubt) he asked for my claim number.
I told him it was 422.
He immediately hung up.
LOL
