HIM: ok... i have google... (i d k for real)

Fake Microsoft scam. They call me 4 times a week at least. Same guy and acts like he has never talked to me. Told him I have an apple and he said it was sending him reports. O really bc apple doesn't use microsoft. He still calls 4 times a week it is very aggravating

Called here with the same crap about Microsoft - he had such a heavy Indian accent that every time he said Ma'am I thought he was saying Mom - I said, I'm not your Mom and I do not use Microsoft - if they call again I'm going to say, you know what, Dude, I have an Apple
If they want to call to "scare" me into using their services they should at least have someone calling who could be understood - it was just comical that he kept calling me Mom

Received a call from these guys yesterday stating they were calling from Microsoft and my computer had been sending them reports. I had talked to someone like this before so I told them I didn't have a computer and had some fun acting like I was distressed that they would be getting reports. He then called me a liar and after I asked him what his name was he replied with "Mark." If it was then I've never spoke to a Mark that had that thick of an Indian accent before (extremely hard to understand). My advice is to have fun with these guys and when they start getting really irritated hang up.

Just received the same call. Some guy with a strong "Indian" accent saying he was from Microsoft and same story about my computer sending our thousands of error messages! Trying to 'match CSLID numbers??? I was Googling the scam as he talked. Told him I have his number and I'll call him if I need him! HANG UP - What a SCAM!!

Got the same spiel this morning, after dozens of phone calls I never picked up. I must have been feeling the desire to yell at someone. At first I faked concern, like, "Oh wow, I have hackers on my computer? What can do you to fix this, would you like all my passwords?" And then he said something about "our hackers" I repeated that to him and let him know that it's nearly impossible that I would ever take someone seriously that calls me from an unknown number. Jerks. I called the number back and it was just a regular cell phone, no voicemail. Yep, seems legit.

I received a similar call, the Indian gentleman claiming that he was with Microsoft support. Same story as the person above... traced my info to Mexico, it was sending multiple reports, tried to get met give my computer number. I also asked to speak with a supervisor (I could tell at this time it was spam), the same guy came on and tried to change voice. I then hung up. Wish I would have found this site sooner so I could have also called him out!

Got a call from this number. When I answered, there was silence, then a beep, then a computerized voice saying, "goodbye!" Then it hung up on me.

I just got a phone number from 323-213-7689, where a "Microsoft" employee claimed that my computer had been compromised and was sending thousands of error reports to Microsoft daily. They traced my information and stated that my internet connection was being used to upload pornography from somewhere in Mexico, and they would report me to the FBI if they couldn't resolve the issue.
Given my computer had recently gone through curiousness, in the form of sectors on my hard drive that went bad, which conveniently crippled my virus protection and disk management software, I was willing to investigate. His introduction was plausible, and I HAD been on the phone with Microsoft a few days earlier.
When I asked the guy on the line, "Can I talk to your supervisor?" He replied with a pause, and then said, in the same voice, "This is the supervisor."
I followed up with, "You know, according to the internet, you're a fake tech support, and you're probably going to scam me. Why are you doing this?"
He hung up.
