Got a call from that number on Weds. 1/7/09--"Los Angeles, CA" appeared on phone ID.  They did not leave a msg.

I am not sure who keeps calling me but I would like it to stop, it looks like advertsing

They called my cell today and did not leave a message.

i got a call from this number and it said they dialed it wrong but no one answered it was automated

I got the calls from this number this evening. I have had work done by "closets by design" however, they should not be calling as I have solicitation calls on the "do not call" list. Thanks for the information I will let the consultant I used know that this is happening and it is not good for business.

got a call from this number at 10:13PM on June 24, 2009.

Received a call from 323 301-7051. Though we have unlisted numbers and are on the do not call list -- they had our name. Said they were from Closets by Design. When I asked how they got our number, they replied that they had been to our home for a consultation. Not only have they never been to our home, we have never contacted them, nor ever spoken with anyone from that firm until this call.

When we tried their number (listed above) which registered on our caller ID, we got the same recording others had received. "Thank you for calling. If you have recieved a call in error, please press one and your number will be removed."  The company name, "Closets by Design" was not mentioned in the automated message, only by the original caller.

Got a call from 323-301-7051 just now, answered, no reply. Wasting my time!!!!!

I agree a 100% by giving u the option of giving en your phone number only helps them get it from the horses mouth SCAMARS .I WONDER WHAT KINDA WORLD ITS BECOMING. More work less money if one breaks even at the end of the month REJOICE

HERE IS AN UPDATE:

Well they called again and when I picked up this time there was someone on the other end. The yound lady Identified herself with "CLOSET BY DESIGNS" out of Los Angelos, CA.... I had worked done several years ago with a different closet systems company so I don't know how they got my information but they were calling now because of some new products. I complained to  her of the phone calls and requested that my information and number be removed from the system and was told she could do it - they were not allowed to remove the information. I have since contacted the FCC and filed a complaint 888-225-5322. A complaint can't be filed unless you have the name of the company. So for everyone else who have been receiving these calls its "CLOSET BY DESIGNS".

Got my second call tonight. Since my number is on the do not call list and they didn't identify themselves as the following, from ftc.gov's do not call FAQ: "political organizations, charities, and telephone surveyors would still be permitted, as would calls from companies with which you have an existing business relationship, or those to whom you?ve provided express agreement in writing to receive their calls.", I'll file a complaint and see whether or not my tax dollars can stop the calls.

Just received a call from this number without a voice mail

Early evening it rings and there is never a voice on the other end.  A waste of time and probably someone's money!

323-301-7051 continues to call my cell but never leave a message.... called back but reached voice messge. Clearly avoided to say name of company only states that "if you receive a call in error please press 1".... didn't press anything just waited to see if someone would pick up -never did. My # is a private unlisted cell - not sure where they got my number. 2nd day in a row they called.

Got a call from these people tonight...picked up, no reply after two "hellos".  Not sure if they've called before.

Same situation...getting really tired of it!!!

Every night this week....same error message when I call them back.. My suspicion is that by pressing (1) and giving them your phone number to put on their do not call list - they are actually compiling a list of accurate phone numbers where people will answer and call back.....

They call almost every evening for the past couple of month.  When I pick up, they hang up.  Today I called that number and an automated voice said they apologize if we received their call in error.....  Voice said to give them phone number and they will put it on their "do not call" list.

Have anyone else tried calling them?
