My call from this number shows "NPCA." A new one for us.

I just called the number.  It says it is the Metropolitan Museum of Art but no one is answering the rings.

I called them back at the same number they called me from (and it was the National Parks Conservation Society that answered)  and asked them to stop calling. They very politely took my phone number and said that I will be removed from their list. Hopefully that's all it takes!

Well, there is certainly a lot of agitation on the subject of phone calls.  The National Parks Conservation Assn is a good cause, and it certainly should be supported- phone calls or no phone calls.  Why the haughty attitudes here?  Getting a phone call is not the end of the world.  Are you so busy with your incredibly productive life that someone who is trying to assist us to protect our parks can't give you a phone call and get in communication?  I don't answer these calls unless I want to- we can see who it is these days.  Give them a break- at least they're trying to protect our natural resources.

How do you get these calls from "NPCA" to cease? It is an invasion of home privacy. The "Do Not Call List" obviously doesn't work.

The calls are from the National Parks Conservation Association; they call me because I used to be a member and have let my membership expire.  

You may call them at 1-800-628-7275 and ask to be removed from their calling list.

this 323-330-1434 is on my machine at least once a day and sometimes more and no one says a word, who is it?

time-wasters. This automated calling stuff is such a nuisance.

Blank messages are annoying!

This number is used by the National Parks Conservation Association, a legit org. To find out more go to npca.org/  or google npca 3233301434. This will show several options like "contact us, what we do, magazine, and 3 or 4 more links, or you can open their home page by clicking on the web site..After a dozen unknown calls or more I dug into it and came up with this info..My thought is that they make a bazillion calls a day and use an auto dialer which will sort out non answering or answering machines.  This will cause a delay in a real person on the other end.  Hope this helps..B.

Received several calls in the last few days.  We have distinctive ring tone set-up for friends and family, so we never answer calls with "normal" ring tones.

Caller ID says NPCA.  According to google, this is National Parks Conservation Association.  Well, I support preserving the national parks and have donated to the cause, as recently as 2 months ago.  But, if they keep calling, they will not get any more donation out of me.  Their loss for rude, unsolicited calls.

This number is for the NPCA (National parks Conservation Association).  My wife and I have given them money in the past, but only via written correspondence.  I just called the same number back, and told them this practice of calling us multiple times a day has revoked their monetary privileges.  They will no longer be getting money from us.

Anyway....I asked them to remove my number from their call list, and they told me that I "was all set."  I'll report back in a few days if it worked or not.

They called today, I blocked 'em!

Don't know who they are or what they want and am not answering any unknown long distance calls. If they can't leave a message, they won't get a reply.

We have been receiving calls from this number, 323-330-1434, for over two weeks, and at least 5 or 6 times per day.  No messages, just letting it ring and ring.  We are on the do not call list also, but this looks like a private number, so it would not apply.

We are very annoyed at this, and wish it would stop!

I am having this same number all my house 2 or 3 times a day and there is never any message.  It is Sunday morning 9:57 A.M. This has been going on for several weeks.  An I too am aon the  Do NoT Call registry.

I have been receiving phone class from 1-323-330-1434.I finally answered and told "him" that i do not accept unsolicited phone calls. Have no idea who is calling. The text says "California Call". I am on the do not call list and don't understand why I keep getting this call and several others.

Received a call from 323 330 1434 on 8 August 2009.  Live person asking for National Parks group membership renewal to get my name on roster to ask Congress to release $$ earmarked for purchace of park land.

Said she was calling from Washington, D.C.; could not mail me any information.  Danger!, Will Robinson, Danger!

5 calls so far, never pick up, they never leave a message

Almost blank message on voice mail - 7 AUG 09, about 1730 hours

hang up calls...will not leave a message

Multiple calls daily over 10 days - no message and no live voice - I checked the # on-line last night and it came back as belonging to Paetec Communications in Los Angeles on W 4th St about 7 blocks SE of highway 110 at exit 234 according to the google map - that appeared to be a local transit terminal.

I was out of town for the weekend and when I came home to check my messages and caller i.d. I had 9! blank messages and 14 phone calls.  As late as 12:26 AM! eastern time!

This number has called 2 to 3 times every day for at least a month.  They never leave a message.  Call have come as late as 8:45 PM.

I've gotten blank calls from these people two times

They have called my house 3 or 4 times.  Once they left a blank message.  Today I spoke to him and he said it was an NRA fundraiser.
