Got a txt saying: "Call 1(323)472-6211.BeaconCU.Issue"

This is the same message I got. Except it added urgent health issue.. I attempted to reply STOP and it said there was no such address.

I just received text from the same number.  This time it said it came from Health FCU.  Gotta be a ripoff of some kind!

I have recd several calls and / or text messages from 7694@vtext.com to call (323)472-6211.  BeaconCU issue.  I looked up Beacon Credit Union and they have posted the following message on their website:

"A series of fraudulent texts and emails referencing Beacon CU have just been sent around the area. The text says: Call 1-323-472-6211.Beacon.C.U. When you call the number it is an automated recording that says, "Your debit card has been placed on restriction due to internal error. Please press 1 to enter your information." The email references your ACH account and says that you need to call a number and give them your account information. These are both scams.Beacon Credit Union will never send text messages requiring you enter your card number. In addition, Beacon Credit Union does not call requesting personal information. If you receive one of these messages, do not respond. If you have already responded, please contact us immediately so that we can take steps to protect your finances."

Received a message today from 1771@text.com. Said, [Call 1(323)472-6211.BeaconCU.issue]

This is the second time I've received a text from this number.  Text says HealthFCU Attention Call 1(323 472 6211)

Just received the message to call Beacon Attention and call this number.  Not happening.

I just received the same message with the address 3170@vtext.com.  Beacon Attention. Call 9 (323) 472 6211.  I figuresd it was span and have no intention of calling.

I received the same message. Although I have not responsed to it and I will not, I wonder how these people are getting my number.

Call a text saying [Call 1(323)472-6211.BeaconCU.Issue].....the address said 7694@vtext.com.  People who do these kind of scams need prosecuted to the fullest.

New Text Message Scam
Beacon Credit Union has received information from both members and non-members about a new text message scam. Over the weekend, multiple residences in Virginia were targeted with text messages specifically naming Beacon Credit Union. The messages say that there is technical difficulty involving the recipients debit card. It guides the person to call a phone number and enter their 16 digit card number. These text messages are a scam. Beacon Credit Union will never send text messages requiring you enter your card number.
