went to the NOMOROBO.com site... being they don't want to tell you what they are doing and give little information before wanting to just start signing you up leaves me suspicious.  Simple answer is get the govt to take action requiring telephone companies to implement software that can verify the true number for caller ID instead of spoofed IDs. It is a good thought but when you have a company sending out false caller ID then what stops them from getting a system that starts sending out many random ones so it can beat the system.

Call them at their real number--818-901-9244. Tell them Lizzy Borden is coming over to 'fix' their telemarketing problem

1/29 17:22 PST  Have had this number blocked for a while now.  Periodically tries to get thru but only rings once now and never shows ID.  Really don't give a flaming you know what or why they are calling, just would like to be able to stop this stuff.  What should be a crime is businesses selling their phone lists, particulary contractors.

They are SUPREME BUILDERS real number 877-572-6579. I just got a call and the guy would not give me the phone number of the company--only the company web site

Even though I told them that I did not know their company and had never had business with them, that my phone number was on the do-not-call registry and that they need to remove my number from their list, they ignored me and just kept on talking their spiel, so I hung-up and tried to call back but I got a message that the number was disconnected!  How can this be??

They called again....... back on my call block list.................wish these jerks would quit calling me.

I will keep repeating my response until everyone registers with NOMOROBO.COM.  My phone rings once and nomorobo hangs up on them.

Called my office today looking for a "John Ordiz."  Told him he had the wrong number.  Got mad, said this was about a home loan that this alleged "John Ordiz" made.  Told him that this was an office and no one by that name works here.  Basically made him angrier.  He yelled, "Why would someone immediately tell me that this is a wrong number and say that this is an office?"  then hung up.  Do***ebag,

No its not.. its too bad they can't shut these creeps down in a hour, but it isn't TV..  The DNC only keeps the honest ones honest. It doesn't protect any of us from the scammers, frauds and other illegal telemarketers. But those get caught sooner or later. The scammers, frauds and extortion scammers are not all in this country. Being in another country opens a whole new can of red tape and issues as well.  It takes time, but they do catch them and even some of the ones in the foreign country's get caught up with also.  I'm sorry if those few guy's in the FTC & FCC can't solve it over  a hour like CSI on TV, but thats life..

Get a good call blocker.  I use a Panasonic phone system with 250 number blocking capability.  The creeps only get one shot at me for each fake number.

8/28 12:37 Incredible fool rang thru to voicemail, obviously not listening and insisted  on repeating "hello" about 12 times before I got fed up, deleted the message and hung up.  I agree with GJ, don't recognize number and no ID shown, don't pick up.  As for spoofed concern, if they really think that no answer means no one is there,  security system and/or a big dog should help protect us.

I've only gotten a couple of calls from these clowns. If I don't know the number then I don't answer.

Yes, I am very cranky right now.  I received a call at 1AM.  Yes, that is 1AM.  They hung up after I answered.

Called from 323-525-6652.  No sound on the line, then it hung up.  Called at 9:55pm.  I get calls from contractor telemarketers once or twice every day.  I'm on the no call list, and I complained recently to ATT.  Am still getting them.  My concern is that a computer is logging times you don't answer, and when they have a pattern they come and burglarize you.

He (/) didn't make sound. I returned the call 3 times. I heard: " bim. bim, bim..." No  one answered. It seemed he call us by other (323) number from Los Angeles, CA. 2 people filed complaints with www.8000notes.com before me.The caller called us again @ 1023/2013.

got a call from this number 323-525-6652 and a woman named Margaret said that she was calling from a contractor who is listed on Angie's list and wanted to know if we are considering hiring a contractor to fix anything at our house.  I said I was not interested and she hung up immediately; no sales pressure.  I'm assuming she only wanted to verify that it's a working number and that we are still the owners of that number.  So i think it may be a list management company which sells information to others.
Also, called number back and got "number has been disc." message.
