This guy just tried to scam me with the same thing! This time he went by the name Hea Kim and used the email address propertyproperty63@gmail.com. Glad I did a little digging around, it seemed too good to be true :(

Scammer!!! Tried to get me to rent a 1 bed 1 bath in California for 550/mo and said they were in Nigeria for some Christian crusade b***s*** wanted me to wire money to them w out seeing the place!!   Said her name  was Miranda jones-Mikel. REPORT THIS NUMBER!

I saw this property for rent located in Bloomfield CT for 1200.00 5 bd and 3 ba, gave a story about a wife and that moved to nigeria, wanted me to send my personal information which I didn't send him anything. He sent me this phone number 323 638 4851 thru email which is hhouse267@gmail.com and used the name of Rafuel Gutierrez jr.

Yeah this creep just tried to pull the same thing on me with a place in Denver. I have contacted the FBI and local police over this guy and hope to finally bring him down somehow. He keeps emailing and texting me about sending him the $. Rande McCabe is his alias today.

File complaints with the local PD and your phone company. Get a call blocking device or phone.

His name was Noah Castenada, said was on a mission trip with his family in Nigeria and wanted someone to rent the house to in order to keep it in good condition--but couldn't let us see the apartment before renting and sending the security deposite.  
Found an apartment in San Luis Obispo, CA that seemed way too good to be true. My girlfriend and i started recieving texts from him and he was convinving but i decided to look up his number and here is the site i found.  glad i saw this before making any decisions.

We found a house on Trulia in oregon that was perfect for our family but after looking into it more the offer was to good to be true so we did some research and found out that this was in fact a scam the person said his name was Laurence Salinas Tryed to call the number and it was a computer.

His name was Stephen Chenard and he was offering an apartment in Miami Beach, FL for $700. He wanted me to deposit $500 for down payment via Western Union

Found a place to rent on Zillow in San Francisco. contacted the renter and he texted me on this number saying he's out of town and can't show me the place but wants me to rent it. Patrick Ogan. His messages are in broken English as well.

he offered me and apt for 500 in new york city and said his name was lester carpinter

He contacted me via a website advertising an apartment in santa monica, he asked me to send him money before I had seen the apartment. He said his name was Rodney Wilson

I called him about a apartment and he wanted me to transfer money to him before ever showing me the place. Said his name was david newman
