Are you talking about Tracy Dennis I've been talking to her for months and says she wants to come live with me says in Nigeria told me a company that her late dad at worked for owed him some money but would only issue the check to someone in the u.s and asked me to accept the check so she can come be with me I said yese. I recieved the check but wanted to do my homework before trying to cash because it came from sandhills community college in my name can someone help me?

The USPS express mail comes from Vulcan Information Package, 1808 Gideon Avneue Zion, Illinois 60099.  The check comes from Allina Health System, P.O. Box 1583, Mpls. MN 55440, Wells Fargo Bank, 255 2nd Avenue So. Minneapolis, MN check #905997

I'm reporting bill Johnson, same number to FBI Internet fraud. When I told him that he was so offended and insisted I follow thru with the transaction. Says he's In Africa but gave me info on the woman who was the shipper and her address. Ill report it all and provide the check and IP address.

Yes, they only want your MONEY, not the merchandise!  Their "shipper" or "freight company" is fake, run by the same scammers!

I got a call from Tracy who wanted art too. It is on my web site. Then she was sending me a check to cover the painting and shipping. I was to cash check and pay shipper. This scam has been tried on me before. After 10 days you find out that the check is bogus!

Yes it does look suspect as "Tracy" is offering to purchase art from my website that is not even listed for sale.

I've been dealing with the scammer at this phone number who answered a post on craigslist for a lamp I'm selling and mailed me a fraudulent cashier's check to pay for it (plus $1500 shipping.)  He's still sending me SMS messages from this phone number asking for the money to be wired to his "shipper" via Western Union.  Careful!
