Got a message about some jewellry I posted to kijiji from this guy. Same story as I always get from these freaks. Away on business and need help shipping it to thier friend/fiance and will pay extra. I've noticed they aren't even using different text it is all scripted lol Atleast try to be original. Anyway told him he was a scam and he hasn't bothered me since.

Exact same thing happened to me. Idiot tried to fraud me for a ring I was selling, even went as far as to send a fake paypal email! Thankfully I called up paypal, and they said that it was a fraud.

The idoit went as far as to call my home phone. Well I told him that he was being investigated by the police for fraud, with Paypal and Virgin Mobile. He hung up without saying a word, and it was a Pakistani guy.
Hopefully this guy can be stopped! But I am actually going to the police with this.

is trying to by my stuff i added in local website for sale
and asked me to shipped it to west africa.
i was cautious as, i asked one question and then 3 quick long sms came in, so i was sure, what a scam
then he wants my paypal info, now he d like my bank account

Thank you so much for your messages, this guy just tried to fraud me, just like you said, and by looking up the phone number here I was able to tell him to back off. This person did exactly what you said, is attempting to defraud sellers by claiming to be a buyer ofo items on Kijiji, he claimed that he would send me money via paypal and wanted me to send my product to Africa! BEWARE, this person is a fraud.

This person is attempting to defraud sellers by claiming to be be a buyer of items listed on kijiji and ebay. this person will claim to send money via paypal and send you a fraudulent email from paypal. Beware this person is a fraud .
