I had the same phone call on saterday March 30th and they said i need to call them back. So i did on April 3rd and it said this phone call can not be completed please try it again later.

This number called yestarday and said that I had owed money to a payday loan company and wanted me to pay $500 to avoid a lawsuit and warrant for my arrest.  The person said that I could only pay with a green dot card or western union; which means fraud to me.  They also said that they had been trying to contact me for months.  If they did, I never got a voicemail or email, or letter in the mail.  The person first said that the loan company they worked with was cash now; which is an application center.  When I confronted the person on the line about cash now; they said it was from a different company.  I then asked for what company and I was told the loan company does not divulge that information.  Before the person on the other end hung up they told me thank and the next person I would be hearing from is from and Oklahoma State office coming to arrest me.

I just started getting the calls today, they have call 13 times starting at 8:17am. I finally called the number back around 7 pm and was told I owe a loan and they only knew the last four digits of my social but because their law office was closed I couldn't get any information until Monday but I better pay them their money or the police will be at my door to lock me up! I told them that I live with a federal police officer so I will be waiting for the cops to come about this fake loan !!! it sounded like the guy was driving while talking to me. its very much a scam!!!!

I received several of these calls for the exact number and the man even called my work # and left a message on my bosses vmail.  Embarrassing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm calling the better business bureau to report it as fraud so that some poor soul doesn't fall for this trap!!!!!!! When I try calling it is the same as all of your posts.

I told them that I had contacted my local police department, and the calls stopped.

I received a similar call from this number 1-813-489-9966.  They said I had an outstanding bill with someone and that they were an officer of the law and that if I did not pay it they would come to my work...and they knew my company name, ,my social security number, my name....this is scary!!!  I told him that he was a fraud and that he should be arrested and hung up on him.

I got several calls from this number.

Did they do anything in regards to this? issue a warrant against you?al

They pretty much demanded that the whole thing be paid tomorrow

Did anything come out of it cause i have been getting like 18 calls within the last two hours. what can be done

These people have been calling my job no stop for the past 3 business days. It's obiously a scam. But no matter what I or anyone @ my work tells these people thay keep calling. They say I owe on a pay day loan from 4 years ago & that they have a legal matter against my name & social. They have cussed me out, hung up on me, & I've told them I'm not paying anything yet they still keep calling. They also refuse to send me any kind of paper work by fax or email until I "pay up." They have even said vulgar things to my boss & fellow employees. I don't know what to do to stop these phone calls but this has got to be illegal.

I actually just had this happen to me yesterday. They are a group of indian guys, and i had to go to my police department about them about 3 weeks ago, because they were threatening me and my family. They actually called from my local sheriff departments number, so that is a felony right there. So any way they stopped calling from the one number and called me the last few days from this number. I told them yesterday that I owe no one money, never taken out a loan and the cops know about you guys and have your number and he goes okay okay, you have a lawsuit and you know it bye bye bye and hung up. I too keep getting the calls, sometimes 8-10 times in a row if i don't answer.  Anybody have any luck in getting them to stop?

I have received the same call from that  number 813-489-9966 and other similar numbers like it. I wish there was a way we could stop .the calling,  Is there anything we can do to stop the calling and file harassment charges.

I received a call from 813-489-9966 on 3/7/2013 in which I did not answer. A man by the name of Officer Carlos White calling from MacKenzie Law Firm. He was hard to understand due to his Indian accent and he was fubbling over his words. Basically he said he had my social security number and address is under a state investigation and that if I do not return his call they wll be at my door and I will face further legal action. I knew it was a SCAM but I called back just to see if they answered. No on answers it rings once and a machine picks up you hea a beep as you would hear when you get a persons machine or voicemail. I can pretty much gather THIS IS A SCAM!!!!
