My dad got a call from this number telling him that in order to keep his name out of the "papers" he needed to pay $800 to clear up the debt. The guy said that he would take $520 over the phone.... When we called back, some foreign sounded man answered... SCAM ALERT!!!!!!

Contact an attorney, although he is clearly a scammer and his foot prints will be impossible to trace.
We all are now getting scam calls. It's good that we have this board to report these scams and learn about new ones. Excellent tool to share with each other. Maybe we can save someone from being taken by these belly crawlers.

Got a call from this number stating I was being sued by an internet company for a PayDay Loan
over the Internet which never happened. He said I had 1 hour to solve the issue or it would
go to City Court. How do I take steps to press charges on this fraudulent scammer?

i keep getting a call from this guy and he is always rude. when i hang up, about 5 minutes later he calls again. this is on a friday night and probably stops around 8:00pm. IT IS A SCAM! if you get a call from this number, do not believe anything he says. i feel sorry for the people that believe him. its always the same voice, but different names every time he calls. and its names like john smith, adam ross, jim jones, fred jones....you know, MADE UP NAMES!
