Getting calls from this number May 2014. They are live calls and the person asks for me, but no response when I try to call back. I believe it is telemarketing at this point trying to sell an insurance policy. Also, be aware that scammers now have the technology to mask their true number with any other number, such as hospital or even police station.

It's Summa Health.  I have their insurance and spoke with a doctor's office today at 3 pm.  IT IS NOW 10:15 pm and this number called me!!!  I didn't answer and no message was left. Very annoying!!!

I have Summa insurance and called a doctor earlier today (3 pm) to schedule an appt. I did just that with a real person.  

Now I just got a call from this number...AT 10:15 PM!!!!  I didn't answer, no message left. Wow.

The same number called me twice today once to inquire about a apartment and then they called and asked for me personally. When I responded in reference to it being me they hung up on me. Please don't hang up on me state your business so we can more forward. Thanks.

oohhh it's Summa hospital in ohio.. idk why they would call everyday. wrong number maybe.

the same number is calling me too !  It's says  one time verizon customer out of service  and number is  disconnected.

I just got a call from this number an it turned out to be the Akron aeros wanting me to reschedule my rained out tickets. Weird that it was a summa number

I got a call and voicemail today from this number, reminding me of an appointment I have Monday.

THIS PHONE NUMBER IS A INFECTIOUS DISEASE OFFICE NEAR CITY HOSPITAL. MY DOCTOR IS DR TAN AND THIS IS THE NUMBER THEY CALL ME FROM ALL THE TIME TO SCHEDUEL MY APPTS.

I got a harrasing call from this number,,,,if you know a Joann,,,,,there is a chance it is her.

Hello - I am the "Jeff" that is referred to in the previous posting.  The 330-375-4001 number is not my number.  In an attempt to help solve this mystery, I checked with our department of Telecommunications and found the following.  Anyone receiving a call from any phone on the Akron City Hospital campus of Summa will see that number on their caller ID.  All calls from Summa used to be completely blocked, and that was a problem for many departments who needed to reach their patients.  With a phone system of this size, which includes close to 5,000 employees, it is not possible to have each individual phone number appear on caller ID.  One number had to be selected for the entire ACH campus, and that number is 330-375-4001.  This is NOT a fax number, however, so if you are hearing fax noises, I do not have an explanation.  I apologize on behalf of Summa for any frustration that you may have experienced with not knowing where a call came from - hopefully you have voicemail or an answering machine, and the person who called left you a message with the number. If not, consider trying to call the department(s) at Summa that you recently visited (330-375-3000 and ask for that department or doctor by name) , and/or try calling the Patient Accounts Department (330-996-8505) if you have a balance on an account that needs to be paid.

It is the dial out line for Summa Health in Akron. Could be any number of calls from wrong number to billing questions - and possibly someone making a call from their room. Not a telemarketing call.

It's Christmas.  Was not home.  Number was on caller id and it worried me as that is a hospital group.  (Worry that a friend or family member was admitted to hospital, of course.)  

I'm guessing that if people are hearing a fax machine sound, this is a matter of a worker trying to fax and dialing the wrong number.

my place of business has been receiving numerous calls from this number. i suspect it is a fax machine from a doctors office however I have no way of knowing for sure

I had also a series of 4 calls right in a row. When I would pick up - there would be no one there! I tried to call back several times, no answer...

We have had over 200 phone calls from this number.  It is attemtpting to fax on our home line.
