That same number just called my mother saying it was one of her nephews coming to visit her here in houston. He called back a couple of hours later saying he had got into a car accident (saying his tire blew out and he went and hit a car that had a little girl in it) he passed the guy he supposedly hit to my mother and the guy claimed his license and insurance were expired. My mother told him to call back. She called my dad and him call his brother to see if his son had called him that he was in an accident all lies..... So this time wen the scammer called I answered :)))) and went completely off on him ofcourse in my Mexican slang because that is what they are. We were going back and forth I finally told him he should go cut some yards get money off of that instead of trying to rob ppl he said " that is what I do, I rob people over the phone." Smh plz guys be ware  

They just did the whole run-around to us yesterday and today saying the same things. The only difference is that after they were caught in a lie they would begin to curse out who ever was on the phone to just say something before they hang up.
Some advice if you're suspicious about the number would be to ask if they're the ones from (a state that you don't have family in) and usually they'll go for it. After that, just hang up, they're not worth your time anymore and they'll probably not try to call you again. If they do just say the same thing about the random state.

Someone from 331-924-7527 called and spoke to my mom a couple days ago in Spanish claiming to be her nephew from Laredo, and planning to visit her in Houston today, together with his mom. Can he bring her something from Mexico? Calls back today claiming to have gotten in a car accident 3 hours from Houston and doesn't have insurance. Needs a loan for $1500 to cover damage and injury to the other driver's occupant and vehicle. Supposedly being held at gunpoint, he needs money sent ASAP to Leticia Rocha Munoz in Achapala, Guadalajara Mexico.

Ami me acaban de ablar del mismo número y es lo mismo piden los mismos datos aguas.

pues yo si le saque informacion y lo denuncie a las autoridades:

Acabo de recibir una llamada del mismo numero, supuestamente de mi "sobrino" que muy cordialmente me invitaba a adivinar quien llamaba... :)) Lo que me dio muchisima risa, porque aunque hable el español como si fuera mexicana, no lo soy, no tengo sobrinos de habla hispana, solo estoy casada con un mexicano y el telefono de la casa aparece bajo su nombre...Cuando me puse ruda y le pregunte de que carcel estaba llamando y cuanto dinero necesitaba, de repente se puso grosero y no puedo reproducir lo que me dijo....Asi que cuidado con los sobrinos olvidados:)))!!!! Que tengan un excelente dia!

SAME THING GOT A CALL FROM A GUY SAYING HIS MY COUSIN AND SAID HE WANTED TO COME VISIT. THE NEXT DAY HE CALLED SAYING HE GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT, HIS LISCENCE WAS EXPIRED AND NEEDED MONEY AND THE STORIES STARTED TO PILE UP .
