OK SO I GOT AN EMAIL THAT THEY ARE FILING A LAW SUIT AGAINST ME IN THE CIVIL COURT HOUSE.  IT HAD MY PAST ADDRESS AND CORRECT SS#.  HE SAID HIS NAME IS JACK DAWSON FROM RIOS AND ASSOCIATES.  BUT WHEN I TRIED TO CALLED THAT NUMBER THAT WAS LEFT IT RANG FOR EVER THEN SOME MIDDLE EASTHERN ACCENT MAN VOICEMAIL CAME ON.  NOT SURE IF ITS LEGITIMATE BUT I WILL BE CALLING THE BBB.  AND HE SAID IT WAS CASH ADVANCED AMERICA.  SO I WILL BE CALLING THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE TOO.  ANY SUGGESTIONS IF THIS IS TRUE?

I got this man name James Anderson calling me from this number. He said I had one hour to come up with money or I would be arrested and lose my job. But he would not give me any info about why I owed thismoney. I looked the number and it was a cell number out of ny

I got a call today from Jack Lewis from 334-819-1345 number.  He was threatening me and saying that if I didn't call or my attorney then something negative would occur.  I put his number within Intellius.com and see that is a land line phone located in Montgomery, AL.

Called me multiple times, from 2 different numbers, was rude as ever, then called my former employer and threatened her.  I never had/took any loans since 9 years ago, and they were paid... These people have an Indian accent, but it sounds like a voice over machine... They are clearly frauds, don't know how they got my number, but wish they would leave me alone.

Shawn williams called me today. After a couple calls before threatening me saying that there is a warrant out for my arrest if I don't get in contact with my attorneys office they would send the police to my place office business to arrest me. Wtf? How can u stop them from calling? Today I told him I was recording this conversation and he turned sweet and nice and wanted to ask about what I was doing on the weekend. This is ridiculous! I would love to sue them or just plain get rid of them! So annoying!

This Middle Eastern man known as Chris Walker called from Jerald and Jackson Associates Law Office. I said that I had an 8,432.00 lawsuit against me for check fraud, bank fraud, and identity theft of another individual. The phone number is 334-819-1345. As I was on the phone, I looked up the so called name of the Law Office (i.e., Jerald and Jackson Associates) including the phone number, which resulted in finding no such agency but negative comments about the fictitious LAW OFFICE or BS LAW OFFICE. I told the man that he was so full of s... that it was coming out of his ears. That was the end of the phone call.  PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THESE SCAMMERS!!!

I got a similar call from 334-819-1345.  The person that called me was named Ronnie Foster, he tried to call my job first but they told him to not to call there.  When I called the number I talked to someone named Paul Smith and he did sound foriegn like you said.  He gave me a bunch of legal mumbo jumbo about how I had violated all of these banking regulations over some payday loan.  I told him I didn't have any payday loans. He said that he knew that but there was a $150 application fee which they tried to extract off my debit card. I told him if he tried that again I would contact the  Department of Justice and the FBI.
He told me that he was going to send documentation to the courthouse in Morehouse Parish. I told him he has to send anything like that to me first so I can examine it or bring to an attorney to examine it. I also told him I think he was a scam artitst.
I tried calling the number back later in the evening and got a busy signal which I found odd for a law firm. Usually if you call a place like that after hours you will get a recording.  But I think you are right about the magic jack,  I would not worry about it next time he calls just tell him to send any documentation to your county courthouse and try  to record anything they tell you. I'm not a lawyer but  I did talk to one and this is what I was told.
One more thing I did talk to someone at  Advance America about it and was told that  an application fee is legal but it is not charged up front and that it can only be charged if the loan is approved and that I,you or anyone has the right to changer their mind about getting the loan.

Ha I got the same call today.  Only his name was Jack Dawson (Titanic movie??)  I am calling the BBB to see if this is legit.  Have a feeling it isn't.

I called them back and ask the question if this debt is real then send me documentation proving that i in fcact owe this debt. Well the call got very interesting they refused to answer my questions or to tell who i ssupposedly owe money to or to as the law in all fifty states say provide the consumer with paper documentation. According to the attorney general of three different states Alabama Wisconsin and IL it is against the law to call and threaten legal action or in this case say i wish u luck. This scam is a form of domestic terrorism and it violates rules set forth by the FTC and BBB (federal trade commission and better business beauro. If u recieve any more calls from anyone claims to be a debt collector ask this question please send me documentation about this to my address. If the refuse to give u what u ask for u end the call right then and there. then report them to the FTC and BBB. I found nothing out on the law firm oof gerald and jackson anywhere on the internet and trust me google knows anything and everything about anyone in the world if u wanna know just ask google.

I received a phone call yesterday to my phone for my husband. They didn't say what law firm they were with just left a very rude voicemail wishing me luck if I ignored his message and to call him back if I didn't he would sit back and watch what will unfold. They man's name was Mr. Grey, he was very hard to understand due to his heavy middle eastern accent. I called this man back and he told me it was for a payday loan. Me or my husband have never had one and when I said thay he totally changed his tune. He has not called back yet but did say the sheriffs will be at my house today......this is such a scam people please don't fall for their team.

I have received several threatening and degrading calls from 3346549314 concerning a loan that is delinquent.  I do not have a loan and have never dealt with the company American Pay Day Cash.  I was told that the law office is Jerald and Jackson Associates from Alabama.  When I have called back to clarify, I am hung up on each time.  This call scared me to death.  I hope this helps someone else.

They managed to call my fiance at work and threaten that they were going to arrest het and serve her papers. Well me being bored I decided to have some fun so I called every minute to have some fun. I even got them to curse me out and fell into a bunch of lies. Told me they aren't a Law firm and its his personal call phone. But told my fiance at the same time on a different line that they filled a lawsuit and good luck as the law suite unfolds on her. I still call just to say hi to habeeb. Oh and the number is from Demopolis Alabama

A man indian sounding called saying the same things as stated above only when i threatened to go to the DAs office in my town he got very upset and said do what i have to do this is a scam do not fall for it if they continue to harass u feel free to contact ur local better business beauro and file a complaint. This has to stop.

Well, I read all messages and they are exactly the same. Indian accent people saying that I need to have my attorney and this a money issue. Last time I said stop f*ing calling a***e. They have been very annoying calling SEVERAL several times, what worries me is now they also have my office number I don't know how they got them.

I just got a call from this number twice tonight leaving a voice mail that I needed to have my lawyer call immediately. So I called. Once again I got a person from India. He told me that I had taken out a loan with American Cash. I just laughed at him because I know that I didn't take out a loan. I informed him that I knew he was a scam artist because I was called last week from number 646-455-2827 which shows up as NY. I researched the number last week and after telling them that I knew they were a scam they have not contacted me from that number. I guess that they have decided to use a second number thinking I would fall for it this time. I told who ever it was on the other line that I have contacted my local police department and the FTC. They told me to hold the line because they were placing a call to my police department and I could listen in on the call. I am sure that Officer Hunter or Officer Johnson would have been the person that I talked to like I did last week. I told them to call who ever they liked because they were not getting one dime out of me and hung up.

I just hung up with a MR. Gibson! They have called my cell and work several times. Each time it is an heavy middle eastern accent. Always give me an americanized name, one was Jackson, one was Lewis and this one Gibson. They also told me that I would be arrested etc.!!!! I telephoned the police and have made a report of these harrassing phone calls! Then when I google the firms name of Jerald and Jackson Legal Associates, nothing comes up!!??? I literally just informed Mr. AHMED :) that I have rights and with his harrassing phone calls, he is violating them. They have no right to call your business or otherwise and threaten you in any way. So, I kindly informed him that (quoting his last night call, when he told me they were coming to arrest me at my work!) that if he continues to call me, harrass me or threaten me, that he himself would be getting arrested! Told him to look that up in his law books. Absolutley unacceptable form of debt collecting! THey still have yet to tell me what it is in regard to. They just tell me they are in the investigation dept. WTF?

Very disturbing especially since I feel victim to them earlier in the week and was frighten and went to my attorney?s office and he tried calling them from his phone and they would not answer but when he called them from my phone, he answered and said he was attorney somebody, but when my attorney told him who he was he hung the phone up.  Now they are calling me from another phone number.

Got a call on my work phone that I had better not ignore this call and get my lawyer to call them back or good luck. They also said they were with Law office of Gerald and Jackson Legal Associates -Keith Jackson sounded foreign. Called him back and he was very rude said that I would be arrested and that it was from US Cash. Never had a loan with these ppl. Also the phone sounded weird. who calls someone, threatens them and then hangs up?!!!

Indian man called me for the last week telling me I got a payday loan through American Cash and didn'tpay it back.  I was being indited on three counts (check fraud and some others).  I had 30 min to go to Walmart and call them back on a 951 ext and he would connect me with their acct department. I was to put the money on a pre-paid voucher. If I did't I would be arrested at my place of employment.

Got a voice message on my office phone. Best thing is, I'm located in Singapore, not in the USA. The call came in at 3.59am Singapore time.

Person has heavily accented English and was very difficult to understand. Very rude message, something about they are going to send some kind of court order to me and ordered me to return the call immediately.

Deleted the message promptly, didn't bother with it. I have never taken up any loans or owed any monies in the USA, if they can send the lawyer to Singapore then 'good luck' to him too, just like how he wished me before ending the voice message.

i just got my brother to call them and he is practiceing law and as soon as he told them he wa my lwyer they wanted nothing to do with him told him the woman he needed to speak to was gone for today and he needed to call back in the am at 1030 am my brther proceeded to ask more questions and they wouldnt give any info at all so all i can say is scammmmmmmmmm

They just called a certain Mark something, Indian guy hard to understand telling me that I have a arrest against me and I owe them money???? I asked them for what and they don't tell you. they called 3 times

I have been getting these calls again.  They call back to back about six times unless they get the answer machine then they leave a message saying I need my attorney to call them about an arrest warrant.  Today they have called me at least six times.  I was talking to a friend of mine on the phone and they called me back to back using two different caller id's.  One number shows a 1 in front of the number the other just the number.  One says unknown the other says Demopolis,AL.  Today I had enough when they finally got my answer machine and at the end of the message I picked up and yelled for him to stop calling me then hung up.  He called right back so as soon as he said hello, I said what is your name, what is your address then he said it did not matter so I said it again and again and again then he finally said Daniel Smith so I started asking what is your address, over and over again he got flustered so then I told him I want your name and address so I can inform the authorities of your harrassing calls.  He said let me talk to you and I said no thanks, and and then I yelled I know you are a scammer so quit calling me.  So far he has not called back. I have decided that if he is stupid enough to call me back then I will have a nice surprise for him.  When I go to work tomorrow I will buy an air horn, wonder how nice it will sound coming through the phone!!!  Maybe then he will get the message and not call  me back in a few weeks.

Called Jack Louis back...played along and he told me I could work with his restitution department to get this matter handled that I had written bad checks from "America Cash," (Never heard of it).  Talked to the restitution Individual and he told me that he would have to speak to the attorneys in his firm, but since I was making good on my commitment he thought I could pay the whole thing off and everything would be taken care of.  He said the amount I owed, including all types of fees, was around $750.00.  He wanted me to hold while he checked with the attorneys.  Rather than play along anymore.  I told him it was a scam and that I hoped he and his partners would burn in___.  He told me I would know very shortly what would happen since the arrest warrant was issued and I could expect them to show up at any moment.  I reported this incident to the FTC.  Years ago I was scammed by a company like this and paid them $600 with my debit card.  NEVER AGAIN...They are completely evil and a definite scam.  If you call back a second or third time they will call you names and threaten you!

Jack Louis Calls, does not mention his company says that I need to call or have my attorney of record call the very second I receive the message.  He tells me that it is an urgent matter and if I do not call him immediately the only thing he can do is wish me luck.  He and a female, have been doing this to my cell number for the past two weeks.  They are both Indian and very hard to understand.  I have reported them to the FTC.  The number they used yesterday was 410-635-5119 on 9/28/12.  Prior to that they called using the number 760-440-5421 on 8/22/12.

This man called  talking about I need to get a lawyer . I called the number back and he is using a phone that travels with you like magic jack. The place he called is my work place . I think he got my number for a web site that I was using to get a loan. They requested that I send them some money.
