Calls and they hang up
If I don't answer they never leave a message. Very annoying to be getting up to 10-13 calls a day. They start as early as 7:30 and as late as 10pm

Called today asking about my husband's ex-girlfriend's (from 20 years ago) brother who neither of us has seen or talked to in more than 25 years. How bizarre! I told them to take us off of their list. We will see I guess.

when i told them to give me and address and that i would write a check because i refused to give out information on the phone they refused to and said that the only way was though phone and that they needed my information. BOGUS

Called asking for me by name. I asked who was calling, but he wouldn't tell me. Said only that it was a personal phone call. Has called numerous times since. I have a contact list on my cell phone that I call BLACKLIST. I put all these kinds of numbers in there and it goes straight to voicemail. They never leave messages. My ex quit paying bills and it wouldnt surprise me if he gave my number instead.

All it said on the caller ID was "Greensboro NC" , I don't answer calls I don't recognize and they left no message. After looking on here Im glad I didn't answer, probably would have just made me mad.

This guy calls out of the blue today and asked about a girlfriend I had back in the late 80's-early 90's. I told him I haven't heard from her in over 20 years. He said he would remove my name and number from his info and that he wouldn't bother me again..We'll see. I'll repost if I hear back from him.

This number called.  When I answered I only heard music.  I hung up.

Got a call from this number and they were looking for a distant relative of mine.  They asked me if I would give them information about this distant relative, which of course I didn't give them.  She told me that she need to contact them about a "business matter" but would not disclose any other information.  Very shady call.

So sick and tired of getting these phone calls from "bogus" collection agencies. It looks to me like, in an age where there is so much knowledge, that we, as a people should have some way of ending these "harrassing" phonecalls. First of all, I (DO NOT) think that it's fair that someone can call your home, which is invasion of privacy, and find some way to "hide" their identity from you by causing an "unknown name/number" to show up on the screen. Is there any way on God's green earth that this could be changed/corrected through our phone systems. It would put an end to the "not knowing" who is harrassing us. From the other messages that I"m reading, this number appears to be "United Recovery," a collection agency. Why does it seem like people like this, and other prank callers, are being protected, in that they can call us and "hide" their identity? Please SOMEONE fix this issue and it is a big issue. Thank you so much!

Keep getting calls from this number, and I don't owe anyone any money... But I think someone who does gave out my number as theirs. No message left. And I've never answered.

Someone from this number just called me and asked about one of my neighbors.  "Miss Snow" wanted me to go to their house and have them call her back!

please stop calling me in the midle of the night when im sleeping and it wakes my saughter up so stop calling me..

I got a call from this number and the lady was so friendly..telling me she was trying to get in touch with a neighbor and gave me the name and the correct address of my neighbor (2 doors down) asking me for their phone number. I told them I didnt know who she was and I wasnt giving out any information and she hung up.

Calls 12 or more times per day but never leaves a message. When I answer it no one ever says anything.

Same thing happened to me on March 1 at 5:40pm.  They called asking about a neighbor - said they were friends and they had lost touch - and asked if I knew them.  They gave an address which I recognized as 2 houses down, but I didn't recognize the first names until I hung up.  A few minutes later it dawned on me.  Very shady.  Concerns me how they got my number as it is unlisted.

They just called me asking if I knew a neighbor and how they could get in touch with them.

these people will cross the line; they will call relatives and in-laws

This is United Recovery Systems.  They are about the lowest of the low and have not only insulted us but used illegal tactics to collect a debt that they refuse to provide proof of in writing.

Very rude.  Collection Agency.  I asked him to mail me something and include proof of the debt.  He refused and insulted me instead.

This is United Recovery and shows in search as a collection agency. This appears to be a Greensboro, NC number but search shows only a Houston, TX or Draper, UT location. Bottom feeder collections. Tell them to get lost. Cease and desist. Know your rights. FDCPA/FCRA Acts.
