You do realize saying "Stop Calling My phone' here on this website doesn't do a damm thing.. If you want something done then actually do something.  File a complaint with the FCC, the DNC and your states Attorney General.  By telling them not to call you on a website doesn't do anyone any good and makes yourself look like an utter fool

Also, to validate I'm not KC just look at the formatting of my posts and the way I write. There should be an obvious indication that it's not the same individual.

Again to reiterate, Kimberly works in the industry that we all hate. While her companies do not make the calls, they do benefit from them (as the calls are transferred). She indicates that a 3rd party(s) handles the cold-calls which are routed to her organization, she does not own or control those companies (again they do benefit from them). However, because she works in the industry and is getting the blunt force of our complaints she has an invested interest in getting the calls to stop. If they don't and continue to persist (which they very well might) eventually enough people will be pissed off that action will be taken that will threaten her livelihood. (such as forcing telecoms to not allow spoofing of caller ID)

She works in the industry and knows who is likely providing the services (as companies uses such services). Enough data given to them for outbound calls (which they likely place) they can find who is abusing their system. They don't want out of control abuse .. it brings too much attention ... not to say that you wont get calls randomly.. but I would at least like a week to go by without one call. Is the the fix we want.. not really.. but a little reprieve is better than none.

Not Kimberly Coarse. I'm the individual responsible for collecting and posting vast quantities of information about her.

See this thread: http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/7314984058/7

If you follow the thread from top to bottom you can see the discussion chain. Is she on the defensive, yeah you could say that. The point of this is that she has contact information about the agency likely providing the call services to whomever is responsible.  Is Kimberly innocent, as I've stated I'm not fond of the business practice, and certainly the way the organizations are setup they insulate each other from fault.. However, following the money trail ends up with services like Kimberly's the end up paying the very people who are calling us.

Nevertheless, if any leverage can be applied to getting the calls stopped this is only avenue I've found thus far (unless you know of someone else). She has an invested interest in getting the calls to stop... so I'm looking to peruse any avenue to do so. If anyone else has any other ideas lets hear it, otherwise this is the only option thus far.

The phone calls probably originate from overseas, so the Do Not Call list is not something they have to observe. The calls are made through VOIP Internet phone connections, so they're almost impossible to trace. I think the operator you eventually get connected to is in the U.S. and, as you have worked out, about the only thing you can do is waste their time. If everyone did that they'd be out of business in a week.

I have reported this number and this scam organization multiple times as have millions of others, but nothings ever done about it.  If you waste their time by feeding them false information they get very upset and will call you every name in the book - so thats fun if you have the time.

Was plagued with these calls constantly. No matter what I said or did made them stop, as a matter of fact the calls seemed to increase until one day I decided to have some fun: This has proven to be very effective. I tell the scum bag who's calling "I can't talk on this line. Can I get to another line and call you back? Of course they refuse to give me their number so I reply "can I give you my number and will you call me back right away?  They always say yes.  Then I give them one of many numbers I have at the ready. Among them are the Canadian RCMP, a resort on Guam, Montrial city hall, the state division of criminal apprehention.  Use your imagination, it's fun.

Good luck.

The bad news: Card Services calls aren't going to stop anytime soon.
The good news: You can retaliate, reduce the misery, and even have some fun.

RETALIATE:

Waste these turkeys' time. Keep them on the line by acting like an interested prospect. Give them bogus data, including a combination of two different credit card numbers, scrambled Social Security digits, and a ZIP Code that's slightly off. Note: providing a credit card company's real 800 number is key to prolonging the call.

After they call the credit card company, you can give them the same credit card info as before with two of the numbers transposed, thus causing them to make a second verification call. Or you can respond, "Guess what ... H-O-O-N-N-K-K [from a $6 air horn] you've been PRANKED! Call back tomorrow for more bullshot." Now they're the butt of your joke rather than you the victim of their harassment.

REDUCE THE MISERY

Landlines. Enroll for the free service at nomorobo.com. Simultaneous ringing, a feature you can enable with many providers, enables nomorobo to receive, answer and, after one ring, hang up on nuisance telephone numbers.

Cell phones. Block the number, an option that becomes available on the iPhone if you click on the "i" on the right in the list of recent calls and scroll to the bottom. Unfortunately, Card Services will keep calling from new spoofed numbers, which eventually should motivate you to retaliate.

HAVE FUN

Turning the tables on the perpetrators with mischievous deception and the news they've been duped provides instantaneous vigilante satisfaction. Plus you serve your fellow call recipients by slowing down this evil operation's efforts to defraud them.

It's just that they're so damn incompetent.  You'd have to be a complete idiot to fall for it.

Maybe best way to stop it is for a government employee to play along, give out real CC info, have the card charged, then trace WHO charged the card.  They called again today, this is first time they've used this number. Earlier in the week it was a 256#.

I get anywhere from 2 - 6 calls a day from North Dakota, Connecticut, Kansas, Oklahoma, Virginia, Florida, Montana, Michigan, Oregon and on all from Card Member services.  Nothing stops them.  Asking them to stop - they hang up.  Screaming at them - they scream back and hang up.  Hitting on and walking away from the phone, they just call back.  All day every day.  Most of my phone calls are from these people.  Who has time to do the reverse scams some propose on here.  I have a job.  It has gotten worse the last few months and I just hit the dnd button my phone for it to stop ringing.  The do not call lists both state and national are a joke.

337-220-9635.  "card services" scammers.  They also constantly rotate to a new number.  They do not leave a message.  They want to steal bits of your personal information to gain access to your credit card number expiration and 4 digit social so they can transfer the credit card into their name.  Do not give them any real information. They will quickly try to call your bank credit department to mail a new card to the SCAMMERS!  REMEMBER, no FDIC insured Bank or Major Credit Card company will ever ask you for your personal information.  Also, a bank representative will always announce their company up-front, not say they are merely from "card services."  Card service scammer merely goads you into giving them your bank info claiming to offer you a lower rate.  That's not how a major credit card company will contact its customers!  Don't be fooled.  Report these numbers immediate and help stop this "card services" SCAM!

I get calls from this number all of the time. It is a recording talking about credit card rates, and consolidation. I usually hang up, but today I thought it would be fun to press 1 to speak to an agent. I waited and when they came on I asked them what do I need to do to get you to stop calling me, she hung up on me. I get calls from other random #'s and they have the same recording.

Assumption? It has been reported in various print and electronic media, including Readers Digest and the AARP Bulletin, that most of the "card services", and other scammers, are recruited at Narcotics Anonymous meetings in South Florida. Look up the articles, you might find them quite interesting. It's best we fully understand what type of creatures we are speaking to, when we answer our phones.
