The "Education Network" keeps calling, and somehow they have all of my information! I have stopped picking up and asked them to stop calling my number. Their number is 585 636 0010. But it does not work if you try to call them back.

Got the same call. Only I never had signed up for anything. Best answer to stop calls is to let them know you have already made arrangements with another agency and they called too late. I thank them and ask them to please remove me from the list. (Most or all of these calls come from India, as I can tell by the accent and the 'telemarketing conversations' in the background.
Another way is to check your caller I D before answering and if it is an unusual number, caller unknown, or even withheld.. let it go to voice mail.
By the way I did find out that this is always on a robo call line, so just keep the script handy.

To stop these calls, call the one who is selling you number. Call 1-800-345-5866 then press 3. Make sure you call them at least 10 times in one day. Company that is selling your number is Carol Wright Gifts. They need to know what it feel like getting these stupid phone calls and text messages all day long. As far as Scammers they are on the top of the list.

Don't feel bad. I filled out a form and did not give them a phone number but they found my cell phone anyway. Thinking of trying to get the number changed. I read a post that the numbers we are reading on our phones are not the numbers they're calling from. They have some sort of technology that changes what shows. I've never talked to anyone, they just hang up so it's a little frightening about the threats I'm reading about. Hang in there.

338-691-2053 (Told him I did not understand him--South Asian (Pakistani or Indian).  I  waste a lot of my mental energy in answering the phone.  It is a different number each time.

Got one call last night but not sure if it's related to this.  I wouldn't be surprised... got two calls this morning:
- 338.691.2053 @ 8:10... said hello a couple times... no response, so I hung up
- 820.654.8921 @ 8:37... had some silly song beeps and strong Indian accent guy comes on talking about a car loan... I said I didn't need one and he hung up.
- 798.648.7678 while typing this freak'n post!  Horn from an ocean liner sounds... another Indian accented guy starts blabb'n off that I did something on the internet and won 20 dollars or something.. I told him that they just called me 5 minutes ago and asked him to take me off the list.. "Oh... sorry sir.. sorry..." I hung up on him. LOL.

Started a few days ago from all these numbers everyone has listed. Driving me nuts. Haven't answered a single call but they will not top. Each number calls 5-6 times every day. I have had 16 calls from these numbers just today. What can I do to make it stop. I am a senior citizen and have no idea whey they would be callinbg me

Recieved numerous calls from this and 383-371-0470 saying they are from Education Network giving me a little information but asking for a lot of info.  Scammers.
Why can't you call these #'s back??
How do they hide all info--unknown caller?
Does anyone know where they originate from?
How can you stop them?

When I first answer I hear this stupid music tone, then either an Indian guy...who can barely speak english starts talking.  I could only understand yes or no.  Told them to please stop calling me, but they have called 7 times so far today.  I would like to press charges against these people if they keep calling me.  Has anyone else had any luck?

I have received 17 phone calls in 19 hours from these guys. Sometimes there is no answer, other times someone speaks, other times when I answer they quick hang up on me. Its an Indian sounding guy but they have numerous numbers their calling from. If you ask them to remove your number you receive another call within 5 mins from one of their other numbers

We've been getting calls non-stop since yesterday.  They all ask for someone named Monica Hebert.  They've been from:  check cashing, auto loans, "education network", etc.  Whenever we start asking questions, they hang up on us.

Hey I had the same problem today. Same numbers and 3 more different onethan too. Called every hours. I called verizon they only can block 5 numbers. I hope this help

They called at 10:08pm on 10/31/2011. When I call back, I get a busy signal. Another fellow (from another number: 439-673-6148; sounded American) called this afternoon, saying that I had filled out a form asking for information about college degrees. I told him that this must be a mistake, that I have a PhD, and that I am on the "do not call" list. As above, when I call the number, I get a busy signal. Very annoying, especially after 10 at night, with the kids sleeping...

Have been calling my cell phone since 10/31/11.  Don't give my cell phone number out.  How did they get my info?  They need to stop!

I have gotten so many damn phone calls today from two numbers: 439-673-6148  AND 338-691-2053! They keep calling every 30 minutes for the past 7 hours! This is seriously annoying as all hell! Nobody ever answers and the second I pick up they hang up without saying anything. URGH!

I keep getting calls from 539-384-0238, 230-723-0452, and 338-691-2053...they keep calling over and over.  It is a man with a very thick Indian accent.  Most of the time I cannot even understand him. The last time he called I asked him why he keeps calling me house and to stop....he hung up.  I am on the do not call list....and I want these calls to stop!

got calls from 230 723 0452   ,    539 384 0238     , 338 691 2053   . I couldn't understand who they were and asked and they hung up and then called back. I don't know what they have to gain. I answer no questions.

I've been receiving phone calls from 338-691-2053,353-984-0236,598-127-1300 every 5-10 minutes it started october 19,2011 and everytime i answer they just hang up or they will be on the phone quiet for awhile then hang up.

My teenage son's cell phone received 23 calls from similar callers today (November 18, 2011), between 4:35 PM to 9:09 PM:

12 calls from Unknown callers;
6 calls from (849)-476-3912;
4 calls from (948)440-2361;
1 call from (338)691-2053.

These calls are all from some mid-eastern accent guys asking about Education Network, going back to school, car loan, etc.  No matter how many times we told them not to call, the phone will ring in several minutes again.  We register the "Do Not Call" list today but it take times to go into effect. Meanwhile, these caller numbers are not listed, how do you even report them?  Please advise.

This Middle Eastern guy called me after 9:00 PM my time, (Which is VERY illegal in the US for outbound telemarketing calls.) When I asked to talk to his supervisor, he said he wasn't available. When I continued to insist to speak to him anyway, the person told me he had no supervisor. That he WAS the supervisor and CEO. Then he hung up rudely after calling me a bi***. This is a scam.

These guys suck. There is a weird tone noise when you first answer, then an indian guy said something I couldn't quite understand. I said please remove me from your call list. He said no. I said who is is this? who do you work for? He said it's none of my business! I said  I am hanging up now. he said that he would call me 1,000 times if needed. Then he hung up on me. He has called back 10x from 3 different area codes! I want to know who these guys are and report them! This is harassment.

I just got a call from this number stating he was from some education network. I told him to stop calling me since it is 9 pm and I have no interest in whatever he is selling. He told me no. I asked why and he said he loved me. I need to know my legal standing since that is straight up harrassment.

338-6912053 told me to go to hell and 714-390-2748 just played music and hung up about 17 times as punishment for me asking to be off the list. They are from India or like. Why get mad over these pathetic losers? The trouble they have is they are inferior to American's in every way. That's why they live in poverty and do this for a living. They are losers so don't let losers win I say? Play with them and waste their time, make them hold, be superior to inferior minds. I will have fun and waste their time endlessly....... knowing it will cost them plenty and me little.
