calls all the time I ignored it not knowing whom it was and they don't leave a message then got so annoyed I answered just air then a click annoying fing people

While it was ringing, found this page and therefore didn't answer the call at all.

called 12 times on sunday , let ring 3 x and hung up,  not long enough for my answer mach to pickup

called starting around 7am on a Saturday and calls almost every hour

I got cold called by this person at 11:13 am don't know what they want but if they called back they are getting a big Suprise ;)

selling cd's or what---cannot speak good english----what law is broken.  if i get another i will notify that this call will be recorded and do they accept--i will repeat  and begin recording

Called me and all of our neighbors @ 0500 last Sunday morning

This number has called at least a half dozen times, each time with no one responding.  Why would anyone call with no response except to find out if someone is in a residence where the call is directed.  I hope the federal DNC website has provisions to report such an abuse and possibly persons attempting to commit a crime by making these calls.  This might explain why many of the calls are receive during the night and at unusual times. I just had an idea.  Everyone with caller ID should have an answering machine message that includes a statement saying "
Calls from unknown persons will not be answered".  Also set the system to not automatically answer when a handset is picked up to check the number that is calling using the screen on the phone, before pressing "TALK".  If the number is unrecognized, let the answering machine answer and listen in.

3 calls Sunday morning prior to 5am. Now calls during the day. No one on the line. This type of harassment is ridiculous. The number is a "magicjack" number and the mailbox is full.

calls all night long leaves no message waking the whole household up in the middle of the night every 45 minutes

received call early this am from347-201-9997 - very scary they hung up when I answered.

Called this morning at 6:07 a.m. The caller ID read: V6240507400002; I didn't answer. I hope this is not going to be a regular thing; it's scary to receive calls that early in the morning

Call at 4:46am.  No one on phone.  Really hate it when someone calls in the middle of the night!

Calls recieved at 5am and 5;30 am. No one there.

4.14am, rang but no one there.  I have no soliciting message on greeting.

SOB woke me up at two in the morning - no one there when I answered.

called at 5:30am - don't like the phone ringing this type of hour when my daughter is away at college.

got call today. no one on the other end. figured it was a computer call and hung up.

Selling CDs and investments

Soliciting call..
They asked for a person in the household. I decided to fish for information. Asking if they were selling something they replied no they weren't. They then proceeded to try to inform  me about their CD investments and rates. This was followed with me informing them they were in violation of FCC Laws and that they were in fact trying to solicit and we are on the DNC list.

What moran would hand money over to a stranger on the phone... Well not the people that take the time to research strange #s and would end up reading this.

Aren't there further laws to protect against trying to get people to invest $$$ this way?
