Under the proposed settlement order, Repo B.V.; SBN Peripherals Inc., doing business as SBN Dials; Johan Hendrik Smit Duyzentkunst; and Janneke Bakker-Smit Duyzentkunst are banned from telemarketing. The order also prohibits them from misrepresenting any good or service, and from selling or otherwise benefitting from customers? personal information, and requires them to properly dispose of customers? personal information within 30 days. The order imposes a $5.3 million judgment that will be suspended, based on their inability to pay, when they have surrendered assets valued at approximately $3 million, including more than $1 million obtained from a bank account in Hong Kong, a $375,000 lien on a home, a 50 percent interest in an office building in Saipan, the defendants? interest in seven parcels of undeveloped land, as well as three cars and a recreational vehicle. The full judgment will become due immediately if the defendants are found to have misrepresented their financial condition.
Does this sound like a respectable business to you? I think Johan Hendrik Smit Duyzentkunst and his wife Janneke Bakker-Smit Duyzentkunst should be in jail! They obviously knew exactly what they were doing was illegal. I hope they rot!

I have spoken to many of you, and most understand what is going on after a few minutes.

Calling my wife  a C*** from a blocked caller id certainly takes courage!
Or encouraging others in tehse forums to do something to my kids, that certainly shows you have high morals!
Annonymous threats from blocked numbers show courage, I am sure you all feel proud after pulling that off!

If what you are saying is true then I am sure it wouldn't bother you to give up the names of those bad customers of yours.  The blame can only be put on your company as this is the only legal name the FTC has filed charges against.  All I want, all anyone wants is for the relentless, hounding, agressive telemarketers to stop!  If you feel for the consumer, if you feel bad for the scam you help create do something about it.  Let us know who we should put the blame on as you feel you are the scapegoat.  Maybe then I can feel alittle sorry for you when you say your personal assets were frozen.

Do not ever give out credit card information or personal information over the phone. Especially to people who call yougot of the blue. Report to local state law enforcement and ag.

This guy posting my information everywhere is not very smart...........

If you read what happened to us, you would realize we are not the ones doing this, and we never were to begin with...( according to me )

SBN Peripherals Inc was a service provider that had a full featured self service web-controlled dialer system that was used by many companies to do political notification and telemarketing, they could control every part of it themselves over the internet.
We were selling this service based on how many minutes customers used , and that was all.
SBN had about 300 customers, and most were good, supposedly some were bad, and we are being held personally responsible for all those.
In a FTC razzia by the Receiver on June 2 2010 our company and everything it had was seized and put in receivership (meaning we stopped providing services to anyone).
All of our personal assets (money , cars , house ) were frozen and put under control of the FTC.

The receiver took all equipment and the bank accounts, so using John's logic I would conclude they must be doing it now...

The Card services / Rachel prompt was used by some of our customers to generate leads for debt settlement companies.
We did not record this, we did not script it, but many many small companies shared the same prompt and used it on many many dialers nationwide, and supposedly still are.

However....

If you really want to talk to someone who knows and has the potential power to stop calls... you can Call the FTC in Chicago , Steve wernikoff or Jim Davis.

They can tell you what a truely evil person I am, but also that they succesfully killed us and are driving my family into bankruptcy as we speak.
As you all realize by now.... the few customers we had that were doing bad things simply went somewhere else and continued to do what they were doing.

As consumers it must be music to your ears that the FTC got the bad guy (me)!!

but wait... if it was really us doing it ...why did the complaints nationwide double since we were taken down last year??

The Feds are hard at work for you, and as far as i can see by all these complaints it has helped a lot !

For the interested consumers that actually read what they post before they re-post it : SBN Peripherals was a service provider to the telemarketing industry, we had a internet based  computer system that allowed telemarketers to make phone calls and sell THEIR services.
We were accused of aiding and abetting telemarketers by the FTC and in a Razzia that took place on June 2 2010 all of our assets (money and property) were seized, and our company was put into receivership.

That means any call after June 2 2010 could not have come from our system, since we were quite effectively killed by the feds!!!!!! ( maybe they killed the wrong company ????????????)

If anyone is making calls these days it must be the receiver, since they took all of the dialing equipment.  For more information pls call Steve Wernikoff at the Chicago FTC office :

I think we should all start calling them and saying "this is Rachel from Card Services" and then blow a whistle or something in their ear.  I am so sick of this!

How certain are you of these names and number?  There are investigations underway by the California Attorney General.  Have you sent this data to the AG?  If not, please do.  This crap has got to be stopped.

I am very  mad at this scam.  They are calling about twice per week.  HOW can we gang together and take these SOBs down?  Anybody try a DoS attack on them?

Got a call from this number; ID says New York.  It was Rachel from card holder services again.  She seems to have many different phone numbers all over the country.  I told her to take me off their call list; also pushed 9 to be taken off.  Hope they do not call again.  Seems card holder services are just a front for so many other calls.  I am on the Do Not Call list but still get these calls.  I renewed my DNC number again.   I have had these calls come up on my caller ID as NY, LA, Fl, and Center ND.  Have no idea why they call me.  Wish we could do more to stop these stupid calls.  Just don't answer seems to be the best way.  The only problem is they don't give up to easily and just keep calling.

It doesn't seem to stop the calls, but when Rachel calls me, I press 9 and put the phone next to the radio. I am sorry that it is affecting some poor minimum wage (or less) worker but it seems to be the only thing I can do.

When we told the person that called to not call us again and that our number was on the National Do Not Call Registry (NDNCR) he said they were exempted from the NDNCR restrictions on calling registered numbers.

Go to FCC.gov and fill out a complaint.  Very easy to do.  They will take care of it.

JUST GOT THIS CALL ON MY LANDLINE; RECORDING SAID SHE WAS SO-AND-SO FROM CARDMEMBER SERVICES, AND PRESS SOME NUMBER TO SPEAK TO A REP...WHY AM I ON THE DO-NOT-CALL LIST? IT'S A JOKE! :(

the recording said my credit card account was  okay, but press 9 to get a better interest rate. when I pressed 9 and told the man on the line to remove my number from his calling list, he hung up on me.

Received a caii at my home

Call from this number on my home phone. Caller ID said it was a wireless caller. Didn't answer. No message on my answering machine.

They didn't leave one
