the number i have which she has changed is         412 326 9782 and 478 257 4983 got the same message from a ROSE WALKER want to buy for her daughter wedding, then told me that she would send a check Fedex.Then Three weeks later she email me saying the check was for the wrong amount and if I could trust her to send the money back. so I got the check $1998.00 her order was only $200. I knew it looked like a scam. So the last day or two the scamer been texing me non stop about sending the money. and this is what she says........

i will be pick up the Avon items when im back ....but i want you to send the rest of the money to my personal assistant  via money gram  now ASAP

Take it to your local law enforcement and file a  report. The check is fraudulent.

ETA : This scam is very common to Mary Kay, Scentsy, and other MLM's. The check that the person sends is fraudulent and if you try to cash or deposit it, you could be liable for it.

I actually received a check from her for $2550... Not sure what to do.

I got the exact same message from the same number.

The check that she sent was a fraud. I told her I was going to citi bank since they issued the check and have it caned for free she said no put in your bank account! I said I would never do that! When I got to the ball they said there was no account connected to the check. It was fraud!

My wife got solicited from this person as well. Unfortunately, she didn't pick up the broken English as a tip off. They exchanged several emails and then she said she was having her debtors send us a cashiers check for the amount of the order. Suddenly, oh no, they also sent us the whole amount for her daughter's wedding too. Then the email with bible verses showed up asking if she can trust my wife to do the right thing and send the difference to her daughter for her because she needs the money asap. Well the check showed up and was for 2500$.  Immediately I had her Google the company that had issued the check and they explained that it is indeed fraudulent and asked us to write void on the back, tear it in half and mail it to them for their ongoing fraud investigation. Today another email arrives after the delivery confirmation showed them we did get the check asking for us to go quick and money gram the difference. I told my wife to ignore it. Scum bag people out there. I hope they catch them.

I got the same message.  Replied. Got a list of items from this person that they would like to order. She said  she were hearing impaired.  Also, she said they had a debtor who could send me a check or money order, asked me to give my name full address and cell phone number.  It said no PO Box because they want to make sure the payment is "safe."  Please see below for the address:

I sell Scentsy and got the same email from jessica_baker021@aol.com. Any time something seems too good to be true I ask google straight away. Careful everyone! Always trust your gut!

I just got an odd text for some MaryKay from jessica_baker021@aoll.com.  Also from a BBarbara Funk for Avon.  These are obvious scams.  Always check and google the e-mail to see if others have received similar requests.  Watch out, ladies! This is SO annoying!  Also contact the companies, so they know.

I just had same experience daughter wedding needs products & email address is bogus!

Contact the bank the check was drawn on.  Chances are 100% the bank will tell you the check is a fake. Ask them if they want you to forward the check and any contact information to them for possible prosecution.

Received the same daughter's wedding story and consultant with cancer.  Check arrived today for $2500 for $200 in product!  Jessica Baker is the name and she has yet to send an address.

I just received one too. It was from  Jessica Baker and the phone number was 903-732-6674. Same story about daughter's wedding and phone not able to store text for long.

Reading through some of these please be aware that if you get a check from them and you cash it that your bank information might be on the back of the check that they will get back.

Be careful! If it sounds fishy, probably is.

I got one today 4 part message but was only 3....now using online messaging service to contact saying that her phone does not accept messages because it is a land line. She said she needed help with some products for a wedding that her daughter was to attend.   Requested me to get back to her via email.  So, I checked it out here and was able to find out how much trouble this person is causing.  Glad I did. Not much response coming from me.

This person responded to an ad that I posted and wanted to buy my wedding dress for her cousin. Goes as Mona Davis, and wanted to send a "pick up agent" and buy the dress sight unseen. Definitely a scammer. Tried to change my paypal password and then sent me a fake email wanting me to wire money to a Western Union bank account, that looked like a paypal email. Here are the names and address she used- DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM, ITS A SCAM! Contacted me by text and did not pick up when I called. Uses Google Voice.
