That's either a lie our you're not very careful about the numbers you dial. I have never enquired about financing or mortgages and yet you're still calling me. sounds unsolicited to me...

These people are predatory. They start off nice when you ask basic questions and then you are bombarded with emails, and multiple phone calls.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!

do not call me.

These people are so annoying! They have been calling my house since I got home for more than an hour now and they aren't giving up. (phone is stilling ringing as I write this). It is ridiculous! What makes them think I wanna do business with them after they literally spam called me persistently. The only thing they've made me consider is changing my phone number.

I got a good re-fi loan through them, using their YOURgage program. Never have I had so much follow up (and yes at times it seemed annoying - but kept me informed and notified of anything missing or needed to close loan). Signed and completed virtually everything from NC electronically. Start to finish process of re-fi was maybe 3 weeks. reduced rate by 1/2 a point and only cost about $650. Plus cut of 3 mos on my total time to pay off.

I have gotten many calls not only from the above phone #, but others around the country from the same company. I agree they are relentless and should give it a rest.Last week they called one phoneline. I picked up and told them I didn't have time to talk. I immediatly got a call on my other phone number from a different number different area code , same company. I'm feeling a little stalked and not sure if this is a real company or phishing.

It was a man trying to sell a GE Home Security system. He was referred by Quicken loans.

If they call me ONCE MORE I am going to report them. Period.
IF I DON'T RESPOND FOR 24 OR MORE DAYS STRAIGHT, WHEN YOU CALL 6 TIMES A DAY AT 8 AM 12 PM 4 PM 8 PM 12 AM 4 AM (STOP WAKING ME UP, I JUST UNPLUG MY PHONE DURING THE NIGHT)
THEN STOP CALLING ME. Thanks.
Quickenloans is amazing 2011-06-06 20:44:12 Unknown
This is a direct lender who only replies to mortgage applications that clients fill out. They are one of the most professional and honest mortgage companies I have ever spoken to. They have closed my primary home and my investment property. There is a reason why they are voted #1.

Yes, these guys are absolutely annoying and even if you answer, they hang up.
Lucy 2011-06-06 20:44:12 Unknown
Well, I called the number back - hit "O" for operator, spoke with Heather. She immediately (and politely and respectfully) removed me from the calling list. When I expressed my concern (please see my previous post) about ID theft, she transferred me to Sara in client relations. Sara confirmed (again, politely and respectfully) that my number had been removed from the calling list, and pulled up the file from which my number was pulled. She named the rep that had left the voice mail (Aaron Mattox), and confirmed that he pulled my number from an "old customer file". I did, in fact, refi with Quicken several years ago (it was as decent as any home loan process can be).
This call went very smoothly - and no resistance to removing my name other than a mild sales push - "we like to keep in touch with our former clients". When I stated that I do not have time for unsolicited marketing calls - she quickly apologized for the intrusion.
As a result, when I AM ready for another home loan - I do believe I will give them the opportunity to earn my business again.

Caller "Adam" Burkett (sp?) is calling from 248-796-6181 West Bloomfield MI and 248-495-1391 Rochester MI saying that my loan is approved. There was no loan or application. VERY DECEPTIVE Business practice by Quicken Loans. Akin to a Telephone Phishing Scam. Log the calls and report to your local Attorney General's Office.
Frank 2011-06-06 20:44:12 Unknown
Where do these people get our numbers? I am a renter and have not applied for anything. Yet these people call 3-4-5 times a day. Thank God for Caller ID. Every call has been logged with donotcall.gov and they persist. The local phone company has Call Block, but (duh) it doesn't work on out-of-state numbers. I ignore them, then continue to report each call to donotcall.gov.
These people can go straight to hell!

If you are receiving a call from Quickenloans then you should feel very lucky. They are a direct lender who has been voted #1 by Forbes, PC and Money as the #1 mortgage company in the industry. They are not Brokers. They were voted #2 as the best place to work for by FORBES in 2008.I am very satisfied with my mortgage and what Quickenloans has done for me . I referred all my friends and family.

We received 2 calls in one day from Quicken Loans. We had previously done a refi with them and apparently they thought we needed a new loan. We do not want a new loan and I told him No thank you, not now. I was in the middle of working - I work from home. The guy wouldn't let it go when I told him not now.. he pressed for why I didn't want to save money etc. I told him if I was going to do another loan, I'd call Jennifer Strable the person that previously helped me from Quicken and he told me she had worked for him..but no longer did. As he put it, "he taught her everything she knows!" - well as far as I'm concerned he didn't - because someone else taught her manners! She was always professional, and polite. He then told me I was rude!!! I told him to take us off the call list and I hung up. When my husband got home he told me that the same guy had called him 2 hours earlier and was told not to call anymore and that he was very rude. I don't think Quicken Loans knows these type of people work for them and want to report him. How and where do I file a formal complaint?
Brendan 2011-06-06 20:44:12 Unknown
This is not exactly Quicken Loans. The company is Rock Financial
annoying quicken loan caller 2011-06-06 20:44:12 Unknown
After speaking with this guy forever, who somehow got the information that I applied for a loan, I told him I was not interested and before I finished my sentence he hung up in my face!
JillyBean 2011-06-06 20:44:12 Unknown
I just received a call from them, about a pre-approval I started over a year ago!! I've already purchased a house (they told me they didn't do HUD loans, which is what I was looking for), and this is the second time they've called me to "follow up". The first time I answered, told them I'd already purchased a house, and didn't need a loan at that time, and not to contact again. This time, I didn't even bother answering and they left a message. I'm going over to the Quicken site to "update my preferences" as Kelly suggested. If they continue, *THEN* I'm taking it further.

I have refinanced my house twice with Quicken and have received the MOST outstanding service from them. The only time I get a call from them or the representative with whom I worked, Stephen McKenna, is when a new program is available that will be beneficial to me...and on my birthday. I have NEVER even received annoying emails from the company.NOT ONE!!! I highly recommend them. Stephen worked tirelessly to help me get my credit in good standing so that I could get a better interest rate. They hire local people to do appraisals and closings. I've asked them "off-the-record" what they thought and each one had nothing but good things to say about Quicken.

Caller ID listed this as the number for a woman who asked for someone not familiar to me. The caller repeated my number as the one she was calling.
Rufus 2011-06-06 20:44:12 Unknown
Once I signed up for Quicken Loans and worked with someone on looking at possibly ReFi my home mortgage, I continually keep get calls from 248-796-6000. Whoever calls leaves NO voicemail, says "hello" then hangs up, or just hangs up.
This happens up to 1 - 3 times a day. If my hand could reach through the phone, I'd be choking somebody by now!!!
I would truely hope such information isn't leaked, or leaked legally by small print, by such a well-known company.
2/14/2011 - if I get called again, I will seek investigation.
Shadonnie 2011-06-06 20:44:12 Unknown
They will not take NO for an answer.

I've been getting repeat calls from 248-796-6000 and want it to stop - now its hitting my cell phone which is ridiculous - I'm on DNC (do not call) listings for both cell and home phone and want this to stop!
