Hi there Steve, is this girl Katherina Almeida in her 30's, blue eyes, blond hair? I have a friend who has been chatting to this girl on the internet for a while now. I'm quite suspicous now and starting to think it's a scam. He has sent money over to her to get her over to New Zealand. Then she say's I can't come because I haven't paid my rent for months which was fine with the apartment manager before but he took her passport so she couldn't make her flight that my friend had paid for.

We have all read tons of these complaints. HERE IS A GREAT IDEA! Most of us know how great a job the TV stations do when they investigate businesses, cheats, scams and the like. If ANY station were to realize that they would literally be HEROES if they got to the bottom of this, they would take on the job. Please call your local "consumer advocate" or "we are on your side" department at your local station. I truly think that they do NOT give up. Once they realize that on this site alone there are many HUNDREDS of victims of this crazy organization. I wrote to two of them tonight and gave them my phone number and this website also. LETS PUT AN END TO THIS SCUM AND HAVE IT TELEVISED!

BEWARE Everyone!  My mother just recieved a letter from them saying she had won money and to call this number.  It also said not to show anyone the letter.  Such b.s.  But, this could be a way they can scam an older person who doesn't have anyone to look out for them.  I would warn everyone you know to watch out for these letters and report them to the authorities.

Interesting that my caller id shows this call coming in from a CELL PHONE!!!  This call came in at 2:44pm, when I wasn't home.  Like a legitimate business (such as a credit card company) would do business on a cell phone.

Yes, "cardholder services" scam.

They dont know if I have a credit card or if I carry a balance. They just scam people out of their credit card info.

Im not even sure the employees know its a scam.

Get into the call and they will slowly ask more & more info and before you know it, you gave them EVERYTHING they need to charge your card and you have no idea who they are.

I always mess with them just to waste their time.

Called ID said "Out of Area" so I did not answer it.  Then my phone indicated there was a "New Message" so I did play that - and some male (?) tone made a chattering noise (like a squirrel rolling  nut from side to side in its mouth) - but no message.  So I came here to see other reports - and to add mine.

Cardholder Services calls me every day, but different numbers.  How do I stop this?

Just got a call from them, and asked them to take my phone of their list because Im getting their calls all of the time. The guys response was "don't tell me what to do", I was shocked! I told him if I request to take my number off their list and they have to do it, and the guy said "and I told you not to tell me what you do" he sounded very creepy and I hung up! This is a scam!

Thanks just called my cell. I don't no anyone but that number very questionable!!!!!!!!

If you hang up on this guy he continues to call..he just hung up on my machine 6 times in a row!

Got a call from this number at 3pm today.  Did not answer and they didn't leave a message.  Caller ID said cell phone, NY.  Got another call from "out of area" about 15 minutes later that I answered and an automatic voice said they were calling from "card services" and asked if I wanted to lower my interest rate.  At 4:23pm got another call from Belfair, WA (360) 227-5181.  Nothing but static when I answered that one.  What is going on today ... I'm on the do not call list!!

I just received a call from these reduce your credit card debt people & pressed 9 to speak to a representative. When I started to explain that I was on Minnesota's do not call list, the little bi*** hung up on me! This is the 5th time they've called me. Well, I've fixed that problem. I've blocked their phone calls from now on through the call screening feature on comcast.Press *60 & follow the prompts.

Called early today and did not leave message. What was on my voicemail sounded like a fax machine or something. After reading on here who they are I've gotten calls from them before and have allready told them numerous times to stop calling. Showed up as Cell Phone NY on my caller ID.

just got a call from one of them at 3:25 gave the BS about cred cards and the junk. starters dont have a credit card. but this is my about 7th call from them so i hit "9" as im told i talk to a male who hesitated like he forgot his name then told me his name was Robert. he asked for mine, i refused to give it to him and got the about the point of "do not call me again" when he hung up the phone on me 347-491-2256.

Got s call from this number on 1/11/11 at 2:45 pm. Did not answer. Checked it on Google and found it es a scam.

Received a call from this company at my work place.  I pressed 9 to speak to someone because I was going to ask to have the number removed.  The person who answered hung up on me.

I tried then calling 347-491-2256 to see if I could get ahold of a supervisor.  It was an automatic hang up.

The FCC needs to do something about this.

I got the Teresa Parton scam.  She is very persuasive.  I got taken for $2700.  Yep I am a fool.  Colin Mitchell was involved, Raji Akeem Olalekan @20 Tuyub St, 1Keja, Lagos, Nigeria 23401.  Teresa says she lives at 47 Warren Farm Home Park, Warren Lane, Pyrford, Woking, Surrey, UK Gu 22 8XF. I have called her at the following number, +44 702 409 8995. She found me on BikersKiss.com and emailed me.  We started a relationship and she wanted to visit me.  You know the rest.  She states she is raising money now to pay the funds for her late fathers insurance policy or contract as she calls it.  Once $13,500 is paid she will of course recieve 9.8 million US dollars of which she will sign over to me for OUR future.  Started researching when this first started but 24 days is what it has taken me.

Did a reverse number search and found that the carrier is Cellco Partnership DBA Verizon Wireless - NY.  Left a comment on the database.  If enough people complain to them maybe we can put him out of 'business'.  Make a complaint against Verizon to the BBB in your state and/or the one in New York,, sometimes that gets their attention!
