Got tricked into picking this one up, as they are using an area code for cell phones in the NYC area. Turned out to be the "lower electric bill" jackwads. When I looked at my Caller ID log, I saw that they had called me about 6 times in the last few days. Reported to the DNC list.

called @ 4:12 pm and 7:26 pm but did not leave message. Call again and I'm reporting them to Do not call list.

The caller ID displays "Rate Approval". They did not leave a message. Upon calling back, the best part is an option to have a telephone number removed from their list. One would have to do this from an unblocked number because there was no opportunity to enter a phone number. Since I am currently in the national DoNotCall database, it is illegal for them to have called me. I work for a business that at times places cold calls but we are not lazy about checking the DoNotCall database first and honoring the laws and treating people with respect and courtesy who are not in the DoNotCall database.
This company doesn't get themselves out of legal troubles by having a "Call-them-back-to-have-your-number-removed-from-their-call-list" policy. Still illegal. Hope they get fined. I wouldn't do business with a company that breaks the law because they'll break the terms of other contractual agreements as well. Hope they read this when they look up what reputation their number has gotten and hope they learn a lesson.
