This website has info on robocalls and telemarketers. Worth a read.

They call daily and have called twice today.  Today, I stayed on the line to speak with someone. Both times as soon as I said, "please stop calling me take me off your list," they IMMEDIATELY disconnected me and obviously did not honor my request.  I did call back this a.m. and entered my phone number to be "removed from their database" but they claim it will take 24 hours. AVOID and do not share your PECO bill with them!

I pressed zero to speak with someone after repeated phone calls.  They wanted to be our electricity provider and mention PECO like others above.  I waited and spoke to a woman who asked for my electric bill and if I was on any public assistance.  I told them I am homless and have no electricity and that Obama will give it to me for free soon.

Left message on my answering machine. I do not know what the message is because, they did not wait to leave their robo message until after the beep. So I only heard the ending part of their message, "?press zero to connect."

I am sick of all these calls since registered on DO NOT CALL LIST. I screen calls so never answer these calls and they do not leave a message. HOW DO THEY KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS??

They are calling in DIRECT VIOLATION of the DO NOT CALL LIST!! If you give them your account number from your Electric Bill they will SLAM you over to their company without your approval.. The government had to step in when the Phone companies did this years ago and now they NEED to do it with these companies and fine them HEAVILY for EVERY CALL VIOLATION so it doesn't pay them to do this!!!!!  They also call from 347-502-2584 as well as quite a few other 347-502 #'s.  REPORT EVERY ONE!!

I did contact our electric company, and as I expected there is no mandate in our state, Pennsylvania.  Everyone has the choice of electric providers, but there is no mandate.  I would not trust the company who is making all these calls!

These people were calling our house several times every day.  I finally waited for their rep to come on the phone.  She said they were offering a reduction to our electric bill through a state mandated program.  I asked what state and she named several.  She wanted me to have my electric bill while we talked, which I didn't bother to get out.  I asked if she could send written information to me and she said no.  I told her I'm tired of them calling us and she said she would place our number on their "do not call list".  

I might have to call our electric company to check this out.  I'm looking online to see if I can find anything for our state.

Who is allowing these companies to call people on the do not call list?

just got a call from these people - best is I do not even live in Philadelphia PA and they are calling about PECO electric ( the Philadelphia Electric company) called my cell phone which has a phila pa # because I use it for work - didn't answer and a recording left a voice mail

I have now blocked the number on my cell phone - love the Call Blocker App

Called 5 times in a row. Very intrusive and annoying.
