This guy called aswell. Phone number 876-586-0467. He asked me to call him back
But before he said that he said I won a clearing house sweepstake. I just told him not right time.
This is a scam I can see on all the other reports.

This same scammer also called me and asked me to buy a card, give him the pin#. If you give him the pin#, he will get the $100 or whatever amount you have on that card.
Walmart is not involved. The card is a cash card and sold in Walmart.

Got a call from 879 586 0467 They said I had won publisher clearing house sweepstakes for 572 000.00 Also that I needed to go to walmart and buy a card to pay the taxes for 100.00 Called it a green dot money pack paper card. Anyone else getting phone calls like this. Someone has a scam going on. Just can not figure out how walmart is involved

This number called me and said something about UPS. He was hard to understand, but asked if I was home, and when I said no, he said to call him back at this number when we were home. Later, I did so, and again tried to understand what he was telling me but had difficulty. He asked me to get a pen and paper and write down his name. Then, the call was dropped or he hung up. I looked up this number, and saw a Wiki article about 876 being a Jamaican area code and related to scams that will incur long distance charges. But, if those international calling charges are paid to my phone service provicer, what's the scam? Practical joke, maybe, but scam?
