This company is called Energy Source 3580 Wilshire Blvd Suite 1100 Los Angeles CA 90010. 800-574-6910 ext 211 ask for Arash. They hide behind fake names and numbers they are scam.

I look on google the PUC number to complain is 1-800-692-7380.

Same here, I told the rep to stop calling and they immediately hung up.

A scam..just got a call with no message. 347 is an area code for NY...PPL doesn't even cover NY..Real PPL is Pennsylvania.Don't answer these calls. I live in PA and spoke with PPL to report this..it is a scam.

I am getting calls everyday from both 347-502-2585 and 214-396-5619.  I am at work and they don't leave a message.  I come home with 5-7 calls every night from all over the US.  Sick of them.  How do I get them to stop?

They continually call, im disabled, bored and on every do not call list there is
i try my best to get a rep and then unload with a slew of racial slurs. with luck i can
tears out of someone. makes my day happy happy happy.

Caller ID says HELP CENTER.  This is a company trying to get us to switch away from PPL to an alternative power co.  They keep calling back and hang up on me when I ask them to take me off their call list.

I just reported another telephone number which has a different area code.  Caller ID indicates "Help Center" instead of "Help Dept." as the previous 215-394-1993 ID indicated.  Both of these callers came in today. .  Same thing.....did not leave message. As mentioned in my report for the 215 area code, I had asked weeks ago to take us off the list.

We have PPL and their HQ is in Allentown, PA which does not have an area code of 347. I recently reported several numbers to our state DNC registry and they investigated and sent me a copy of what the FCC is currently doing (they actually found out who is doing these fake calls and are suing several companies). Our state's DNC agency actually investigates complaints whereas the National DNC agency seems to do nothing (at least it seems that way).

Just received my first call from "Help Center"  3475022585.  No message was left. I saw "cate"'s entry above and agree with what she says.  I don't answer calls from Anonymous, Toll Free Caller, etc. I go get calls once in a while from my mortgage company and my credit card company which don't have their names in the CID.  I never answer them because I can't tell them apart from a scam or fishing call.  I tell them that and they still continue not to identify themselves. IDIOTS!  I am a PP&L customer but this is a Brooklyn phone number... PP&L is headquartered in Allentown PA.  This doesn't make sense.  I.D.I.O.T.S !!

Numerous calls from 347-502-2585 with "help center" on caller ID.  I do not have an answering machine.  I'm certainly not going to answer the phone from an unknown source.  If they really are lagit. they could put their name on their phone listing.

Did you have results call the PUC?  If so would you share the PUC phone number.  These same people/phone numbers (347-502-2585 "help center" & 347-502-2542 "power rate") keep calling about twice a day every day.  It is very annoying as they let it ring about 15 times.  I only have a caller ID.  I was hoping they would stop if I never picked up the phone.  Thanks for your comments.

Recorded message said to press 5 to speak to a live rep.  I did and got Barbara operator #1606, and she said she worked at a call center for a company called LIVE VOICE.  She wanted my electric account number so she could save me money.  I told her her call was illegal because I was on the Do Not Call list and she said it was not illegal for her to call me because it was a call from the government!  I informed her that she was NOT from the "government".  When I informed her that I would be filing a complaint she hung up on me.  I receive these calls every day ("Help Desk" on caller ID) but they are always different phone numbers.

I keep receiving calls from this company asking for my electricity bill account number.  The operator (in this case identified as Tammy #1525, again from LIVE VOICE) does NOT know the name of my electric company, yet insists they are required by the government to call and offer to find a lower electric rate for me.  I told her I was on the DO NOT CALL LIST and she said that they could call me because they were providing a SERVICE and not SELLING something.  I told her I wanted my number removed from their list, and that I was filing a complaint and she hung up on me.

this time it was Nicole #1295 and she also said she was from LIVE VOICE.  When I started to ask her to please remove me from their call list, I got as far as "this is the third..." and she screamed "I"m only doing my job" and hung up on me.

I then called PP&L and I was told they have NO CONNECTION to this company, and not to give them my account number unless I want to switch my electric supplier.  They gave me the phone number of the PUC to file a complaint.

received several calls from this number.  we are on a do not call list.  I don't usually answer.  It's just so annoying to have the phone ring and then this unknown number shows up.  If I wanted you to call me, I'd have given you the number!

We have received a few calls from this number. The odd thing is, it is a New York number -- Bronx, Yonkers...and PPL is a Pennsylvania power company, the one who covers the area where we live. So, if they are calling us, their customer, they are not in violation of the Do Not Call list.

BUT, if a legitimate business has a legitimate reason to call, the caller ID absolutely OUGHT to identify the company by name, and there ought to be an explanatory message, with a call back number for the customer. This obnoxious technology these companies are using these days, and contracting out the calls to some call center, which fails to provide that information, blackens their reputation IMHO.

There was something enclosed in the last bill about how the bulllies and thugs on some state agency that regulates electrical providers has done what they exist to do, being paid with your money: they have made a ruling in favor of the special interests, not the customers, about how the default provider may compute your rate for electricity, if you do not shop around to buy from somebody else. The effect of the change will be to make consumers who have stayed with the default (original) provider after the special interests pushed "deregulation" through, pay more, LOTS more, for their electricity.

Yeah--somebody needs to start tracking down a***oles like this, and treat them to the same sort of annoyance they cause others.
same old same old a***oles--I think they are just collecting numbers to distribute to other individual a***oles, when they do this scam with calling and hanging up...

Caller ID showed "Power Rate". The recorded msg. offered the option to talk to someone which I did to gain more info. A woman explained that they could offer "assistance" with the power generation part of my electric bill. When I asked "what if I don't need assistance?", she said that they could put me on their do not call list and help someone else. I told her that I was already on my state and federal do not call list and needed her parent co. and contact info. That is when she hang up on me. Filed a complaint with both the State and Federal.

CID "Power Rate".  Probably want me to change my power company.  I'm happy where I'm at.

Called today for the first time.  Caller ID said "Power Rate".  I didn't answer.  They have the new record for most amount of rings - 15.

I received a call from this number today at 1:44 p.m.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.  When I saw 2013 Reduction on caller ID, I knew it was either a sales call or a scam from someone who doesn't check the do not call list.

Answered call and it was PPL to reduce charges. Selected choice to speak to a rep and was asked for account number. Told him we are not PPL customers and to remove our phone number from their list. He sort of mumbled something and hung up!

This call is from PP&L. Just hang up.
