We used have this company WawaCredit.com but we never a single cold call. All of our leads were inbound calls, we only worked with south Asian and never had even a single lead from any other community. This is some one else using our name, if you ever get any call from anyone who claim to be wawacredit tell them to that you are interested and they will transfer you lead to some company in USA an please report that companies name to donotcall registry/FTC (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en). Once again we don't make any call and never had made any call. This number 347-628-3160 doesn't belong to us, I tried to call and figure out who that is but this person hanged up on me. Please file a complain against this number. If I can be any help please let me know I'll work with you to nail this A*Hole down.

They have been calling me several times per day.  I have asked several times nicely to be taken off the call list.  I have even sat through the ridiculous script and waited on hold to ask the supervisor to take me off the call list, but the same guy continues to call me, and today, he called me a b***h.  Is there really nothing we can do about this?  And, how the hell did they get my cell phone number?

OMGosh!  I get a call from 347-628-3160.  Says he is Kevin from Consumer Financial Services and that we had a conversation in December about consolidating my credit cards.  I said no, he said yes, back and forth.  
He states I have credit card debt, I say I am not comfortable discussing my personal finances with him.  Kevin (obviously from India) gets testy and says he isn't selling anything, but that I can lower payments without paying anything.  I tell the guy I am sure he's busy so please take my number off of the call list I am not interested.  At that point he gets belligerent and says he NEEDS to have a good reason why I won't do what he's asking and I say "Kevin, DUDE, I don't care about your NEEDS - you are a SOLICITER!  Good-bye!"  Who are these people and what on earth makes them think bullying potential customers is a way to build a business?  Is this strategy working for them?  I am aghast!

This is an annoying debt consolidation company that hangs up on u if u tell them something they don't want to hear. Nice manners    They just hang up

Tried to get me to give up personal info, when I refused he cursed me in some other language and hung up.

Just got a call from this idiot.
I know I've received calls before so I restated that I am STILL not interested, and to please take my name off the call list and not to call again.  He actually told me "NO, I will not."  I said "Excuse me, but yes you will."  and again he said "NO".  So I said "Fine, how about I report you then" and he told me to go right ahead.
I am also on the do not call list, and this is ridiculous for an unwanted phone solicitor to basically tell me that he will continue to harass me and there's nothing I can really do about it.  WTF???
Really wishing it were possible for time warner cable phone customers to block specific numbers.

they called me. gave me the same scam. i asked where they got my number from, they said i visited their website. i kept asking about the website and eventually they said they got my number from a marketing team. i ended the call after they called said go to hell and said FU.

Just received my second call from them. I had missed a few calls from this number (they left no message). I checked the number on this site and knew what to expect. Before I finished saying "that's not something I'm going to talk to you about," the call was terminated. Thanks to all the people who posted; it allowed me to avoid dealing with these people.

This number called me twice in the last two days. Neither time I answered as I was working and I rarely answer the house phone as any calls I care about go to my cell phone. I looked up the number because I was curious to whom was calling me from Brooklyn, New York. I do know somebody in Brooklyn but I called him and asked if he called me. He hadn't. He wasn't even in New York at the time of the calls. I don't know who this is but I know the call's annoying.

Just another a***ole who called my home at dinner time using my 1st and last names . This number should be reported to the FTC and the FCC. Obviously con men and fraudsters.

My mom got a call from this number and when I asked what it was regarding, I was told it was about a debt and I basically told them NO and she wouldn't take No for an answer so I told her to go to hell and I hung up, she had the nerve to call me back and said, "You go to hell, B*tch! I mean really, are they this hard up for business when you tell them over and over again, "NO"!

just got a call from this number the guy spoke broken english, he claimed to know how much credit card debt i have which was incorrect, when i asked him how he got my number he all of a sudden could'nt speak english and more after i called him an a***ole and asked him agian how he got my number he hung up. what pisses me off is i know its a scam and my number is registered on the do not call list whats the point of that list if they can call anyways.  i always file a complaint but never hear from anyone, and the problem continues.

called twice within one hour....from another reverse number lookup site....connected with wawacredit?  So I called their fax number twice.

Man called me from unavailable from #347-628-3160.  He asked for my last name and said he was an attorney!    This man could barely speak english.  I am not politically correct this was a c**** jockey and I do profile.  I said "ATTORNEY?"   He said then why was i concerned and he mentioned my last name again?    I said loudly "NO, this is MY phone number and I get to ask the questions--told him to take this phone number permanently off of his call out list and slammed down the phone!!!    

I think this was a collection agency and personally not afraid of lawyers. Think he was going down a list of last names in the phone book---picking and harrassing people...   I do not have time for this!!!

whois.com does not give info on this web site www.wawacredit.com, sadly.  It's masked.

Good luck getting them to take you off their list though.  Since they're not in the US they really don't care what you think.   If you can get the name of a company buying their leads, please post it here so we can get a state AG or the FTC to get them to do something about it.

I get a call from these guys every few weeks.
the only time I used this number on line, I entered it at this website:  www.wawacredit.com (back in Sept 2010) and they've been calling me ever since. it's an off shore telemarketing office, accents sound like they're from India.  Every time they call I ask to be removed from their list and they keep calling.  
and yes, as soon as I tell them I'm not interested they start swearing.  It's sort of fun to hear them mispronounce foul language.  The calls are annoying.  
If you say you are interested they'll transfer you to another telemarketing firm somewhere in the US who pays around $50 for the live transfer lead.  I've done this a few times just to see who is doing it, but they are just as phony and they start calling then, too.  Then (this is the best part) the US company re-sells the lead to three other firms for $50 each.  It's a racket.

this number has tried to call three times in the last 2 days.  Today I finally pick up and "Emily" says something about my credit card payments being on time.. is that correct... I said is this a debt consolidation.... she says let me speak... I again say is this a debt consolidation... she now says in a loud, getto voice... no it isn't maam... i then say I am not interested and hang up.

So apparently we are all being abused by this little man from India. I told him I wasn't interested in whatever he was selling and hung up.  He called back three times, I answered on the third and was just called an angry old jerk and stupid for not wanting to hear what he had to say.

I got a call from this number ask for someone I said excuse me he said stupid and hung up..Got another call today he knew my name said i have your report on my desk I see you've been making your monthly payments I said what is this about he got quite and hung up..

Got the same type of call as others here. My wife asked what was the point of the call ? He said "Diem't you hear me? This is about your credit card". At that point my wife hung up. Sounded off-shore from India.

Asked for me by name then promptly hung up. Strange!

Claimed to be from consumer or credit financial.  Offered to wipe out interest and 40% of principle on credit card debit.  I calmly began explaining that mine was an unlisted number and could they please take it off their list or make it do not call and that I do not take this type of solicitation over the phone.  If they wanted to send me something in writing I would look at it.  Man got his manager on the phone and I hear, " What's your problem b%#ch?" I say, "Excuse me?"  He says "Why are you abusing my man."  I then proceeded to calmly and coldly to say all the same stuff I told the other guy and hung up.

No response when I answered a call from this number, just hung up.  Will not answer if they call again.

3 calls today from this number.  I don't answer and they leave no message.

Caller identified himself as David. There is no way that this guy's name is David. He could barely speak English. That is the name they must have told him to use.

Some kind of debt consolidation. I couldn't understand the guy, and I hung up. Just another annoying phone call.
