I do the same except I assign a "silent" ringtone to my spam call list.  That way when a repeat spammer calls I don't even hear the phone ring.

They have called me twice this week and both times as soon as I answer they hang up.

... I forgot to add - perhaps answering the phone with a bullhorn would deter them from calling!  LOL!!!

Have added this number in my phone address book as SPAM - it is coming from New York.

Did not recognize the # - answered anyway. They hung up. Jerks.

I have put my number on the no call  list and I am still getting calls. How do I stop these calls?

I answer the phone and threaten them with the BBB.  It works, they don't call back.

Boy these jokers just don't give up do they? They continue to call and "mask" who they really are. They never leave messages.

XSpam is a good idea.  The govenment sells the "Do not call list" to these people.  Gotta pay the bills somehow.

I've gotten calls on my cell from this number several days in a row now. I didn't answer. Instead, I went online to Verizon's website and entered the number in my "Blocked Calls" list. It's only blocked for 90 days, but that seems to be a long enough time for them to quit calling me!

I always add my unknown callers or spam calls (any call I don't know who it is and they don't leave a message) to an XSpam contact and assign it a silent ringer.  F em.

I  have reported this number to my local law enforcement.  A family member is in law enforcement and suggested I do that.

this company called my cell phone number. A family member owes money not me this is my personal number and do not want calls from this company!

They called, I didn't answer as I turn off the ringers when I don't want to be bothered by phone calls. I also turn off the answering machine as it "beeps" loudly even when they leave no message.  Guess I didn't miss anything.
For the past several months a guy who does odd jobs for us put us down as his full time employers [which we are definitely not ]. He recently was paroled out of prison in Texas & went online to many, many online loan companies, which only require a bank account, verifiable employer & an address. After fielding an average of thirty plus phone calls per week looking for this guy, & me informing them he is NOT an employee; then continue to call, some "say it's a matter of most urgency" that they call back today and make payments--or else ! & could I make a payment just to catch them up & ahead. Ha ha ha. I may be older, but I haven't gotten senile -
When I ask the "temp guy who does odd jobs," he says he doesn't owe anyone, he merely inquired about how they have so much money to give away, and how could he get it quickly. I told him it's a scam, but he thinks there's  gotta be something good about it, cause they have SO MUCH MONEY THEY HAVE TO GIVE AWAY.

Called my cell phone today @ 12:22 ET. I did not answer.

Got a call from this number today 04/24/2013 at 9:30am. I did not answer and they left no message. but I checked this site right away and sure enough it's on here!

i just got a missed call from this number. How funny when i googled it this number came up as a suggestion and I saw this forum about it being a scam. Before I googled it, I tried to call back and it kept going to voicemail. The voicemail is just someone taking a breath. Im from NY so I just assumed it was a friend I didnt have in my phone. Im glad I googled it.
