I have been receiving messages from this company, WebPayDayLoans.com and its affiliates, for about a month--at all hours of the day and night, up to 8 times per day at such times as 2am, 4am, 5am, etc. The website is registered to a bogus company out of Bolivia.
This all started after I requested information on a payday loan. However, my bank account was charged 99.00!! for a bogus charge from a company; which I reported to my bank as fraud.
I have repeatedly tried to respond "STOP" to these text messages, but to no avail. I was hoping that they would stop sending them since I was not replying, but they continue to happen. This is beyond annoying, and is the stupidest mistake I have made online. I am considering having to change my phone number due to this constant harassment.
I suggest that no one give ANY further information, including your name, to this company.

You need to complain to the FCC and the FTC! I talked to Verizon and they are trying to get the FCC to do something about this problem. But everyone has to ban together and complain. I pay for my text messages from these companies and you can't get them to stop. Unless the Fcc makes this practice illegal then it will continue.

| ON DO NOT CALL AND STILL GETTING SPAMMER 2010-04-07 17:29:12 Unknown |
I called AT&T to complain about some spam text I was receiving on my cell and they customer service person said to reply back with "STOP". The original sender stopped, but now I am getting this spam from MONEY600 tel number 347-781-6502. Just report it to your carrier. If we all report it to the carriers, hopefully they will do something if enough people call in. AT&T satys there is nothing they can do. Call the FCC if you are on teh DO NOT CALL LIST~ even though it didnt expressly say text messages, the intent is tehre. The FCC needs to add verbage to protect consumers~
