I got a call from man saying I owed money and the police were going to come get me tomorrow.  I tried to get information from him stalling with "I can't understand what you are saying" (I really couldn't).  He handed me off to a man who said he was Officer Jack Adams and that he would be the person coming to pick me up tomorrow - I ask who what his Badge # was and he told me 01112, he said he had a warrant for my arrest in regards to an unpaid case with United Investigation, so I ask what the Case # was and he told me K1032.  He said I owed money and the police were coming to get me tomorrow.  I told him I thought you were the police and he hung up...   These people are scum... They scamed my office phone and called my cell - my office phone rang and my cell - my cell saying it was from my office and I was sitting right there.

Today I got a call from this #. A guy said he is looking for one of my colleagues for a legal matter. I told him that he should call the legal dept and that he should not call my # again.

I got the same calls.  They repeatedly called me and when I answered there was no response so I got mouthy and said either say something or quit f'ing calling me.  The next time they called they asked for my husband.  I said no one was here by that name.  He asked what I said the last time he called.  I repeated it and hung up.  He called back yet AGAIN, and left a voice mail repeating "f'ing b**ch" 4 times and hung up.  They were calling me about a year ago too, I told them I was reporting them to the attorney general and they quit calling.

I recevied the same call as all you have, A heavy thick indian accent stating that I will be in jail by tomorrow morning. These people need to be stopped !!! I also received a call from this man stating that I need to pay back a pay day loan that I never took out, this is ridiculous.

I just received a call from "Officer Ben Harris" this morning and the number showed on caller I'D as (800) 431 19 and he left a message to return his call at 347-829-4710... And yes, he was threatening to have me arrested. I also received several calls from a # that showed on my caller ID as 0000 from a woman threatening the same thing. Both callers had very thick Indian accents. I don't know what business this is for, but I do know that any "legal" matters would be subpoenaed by a real officer to ensure my knowlege on the matter.

So relieved to see that this is a scam. I've received a phone call from this number multiple times now, and was beginning to worry. DO NOT RESPOND TO THESE PEOPLE. They will not leave you alone, regardless of what actions you take toward them. It is a scam and the best thing you can do is block your number.

I received a call from this # the man said his name was officer Jack Adams, and that he was with a legal service representing united cash loans. He was insisting that I pay an outstanding balance then and there. I advised him that I wanted to speak with united cash loans first. He said if I do not pay back now then there will cops at my place of buisness in the morning to arrest me. He gave me this number to call him back from but the # showed on caller id as 812-590-9203. He had a very heavy accent and I couldn't hardly understand him. I finally got off the phone with him without giving him any money and I called united cash loans who informed me that Money Mutual was compromised and this is a scam. If you receive a call from this # DO NOT give them any money!! It is a scam!!

Received this call today from one who said he was Officer Eric Smith about a Legal Matter.  Who are these people and how can they be stopped?

got a voicemail from on my work phone from a guy with a foreign accent identifying himself as "Officer Ben Harris" stating he had an urgent legal matter to discuss with me and if i didn't return his call, i may find myself behind bars or worse. I didn't bother calling back. I thought "valid" debt collector calls of this kind are supposed to send you something in writing and not use threats like sending someone to jail. Sounds like a scam to me.
