He called me from the number 3474560059 and said I caused a huge mess and he lost 570 bucks and that I needed to drive some place to give a girl 570.....totally not legit business practice! Is guys a scam and he tries to muscle you into paying him by using his intimidating New York accent.  Anybody else get that number?

Can something be done about this jerk?  I called the local police and they told me that this is a common scam.  But they seemed unwilling to pursue finding him.  I know they got worse crimes to deal with, but he harasses a lot of people with threats.

I received a call from Charlie, and I answered my phone as I usually do by saying "This is Ken", and he immediately said "Kenny! It's Charlie! You called me twice, man, what do you need?" and I said "Sorry, I think you have the wrong number." He then said "It's pretty amazing that you called me, because I know everything about you, Kenny!" At that point I hung up on him.

He then left me a voice mail about how I had 29 minutes and 48 seconds to call him back before he sends his records of me over to his attorney. He said he was with Tristate Escorts and Massages Backpage, and he was going to sue me for $2500 plus whatever the balance was on my bill regarding the company he provided. He also said he had previously spoken with "Officer Irving Clayton" (he then proceeded to spell out his name incorrectly A-R-V-I-N-G) and that he was going to get back in touch with him and file a complaint against me. Finally he said that if I didn't get back with him, the matter would be handed over to his attorney at 5:30pm sharp and he wished me a lot of luck.

I called my phone company and had this number blocked from calling me. Then he later called one of my co-workers and just kept saying "Hi" over and over...

Wow.  Though I was the only one :).  Called me up and left several voice messages threatening legal action.  Says I made an appointment and didn't show up so now he has to pay.   Seriously?!!  If I make a reservation/appointment with a restaurant , hair salon or even the doctor, then decide I can't make it, no one's threatening legal action for not showing up!  This clown thinks he can bully/scare you into giving him money.   I love the fact that he threatens to bring me to court for an illegal service he runs and that his drive will send me court documents to an address/location I never gave him. A**hole!!

This a-hole told me his name is Jeremy Pavo.  He rattled off some fake attorney names and sargeant name at an NY precinct.  All are Italian names.  Either his friends are going to pose as these people or he only knows Jersey Shore references.  I told the police, but they told me to just ignore him.  How can harassment like this be legal?  Somebody should find out where his w***es are, and then show up with the cops.

This guy called me, too.  Goes by Frank D'Agostino.  He threatens bringing police and lawyers and patrolmen to your home.  Not possible.  He says I owe him hundreds of dollars.  Never met him, never called him, won't answer if he calls back.  He wants to go to the cops, let him.  With what he apparently does as a scam artist, the last thing he wants is police involvement.

This Jack*** by the name of Frankie called me and said that he had files on me and proof that I called escorts. Also that I had apparently did something that cost him over $800 which I owed him. At first I was frightened and called the authorities and gave them this number. The stupid police did nothing about it... then I realized that the idiot didn't even know my name let alone my home address! He also offered me an option in which I could pay him $200 dollars down and $50 a week until the debt is payed off, this of course after I told him several times that I didn't have money on me (which I did but I didnt pay him a damn thing). Sounds like an old telemarketer sales tactic, except Frankie was clearly trying to intimidate me. After realizing how scam-like this was I googled this number and found this website.

There is nothing to worry about, what this guy does is post fake escort ads on backpage.com and if you happen to call the number on the ad, thats how he gets your number on his caller ID. The he'll try to blackmail you into giving him money. What a bi***, I'd beat his a** any day if I ever get the chance.

He got beligerant and threatened me. He didn't have the chance to ask for money as I hung up on him. Scarey thing is that he knew my name. I'm scared that he is going to hack into my facebook etc and steal my ID. Do I have to worry ?

Same number called me and said I had to apologize and settle the matter. I said you have wrong number, then the idiot said he would call me back in five seconds. He called back and asked if he had wrong number or what? What an idiot, he threatened police action and lawyers in the two phone messages that he left. Number is from new York. Who do I call, I am in Texas.

Amazing that this guy would tell you he was going to report you to police for money you owed him for his providing you with illeagal services!   I have talked to a nys police investigator who would like you to report any info to them,  they aren't looking to prosecute anyone except the party who has now crossed the line and is considered guilty of blackmailing and extortion.  Call the nearest State Trooper barracks and give them the phone number,  they have already started a file..

Same jerk called me today (9/11) claiming to have a file on me 2 inches thick.  kept trying to get information, home numbers, work numbers, cell phone, email, etc.  Wanted to solve our "problem" man-to-man ($$$).  Said if I didn't pay he was turning me in to the cops--wasn't really clear on exactly what he was turning me in to the cops for.  The number he called was actually our main office line that gets forwarded to different people's cell phones when we're out of the office.  It was my turn this weekend, so he called me.  Obvious swindler.

Looking forward to hearing more about this character.  My local authrities are also interested in tracking him down and want to  know of any calls from that phone or other throw away phones.

this guy "Gino" is a swindler.   he says he has lawyers and cops that will assist him.  I have since reported him and his little girl "Lisa" to the local authorities who are now looking into the calls.   I have volunteered to record all future calls from the number and all save all texts.    As he is crossing state lines, the legal efforts will eventually be turned over to the FBI.

This b*****d cranked call me and told me I owed him money, wouldn't stop calling me and tried every procedure in the book.
