I'm in the midst of wondering if Ana Peterson is real. I'm looking for a roommate and she portrays herself as interested getting her a Masters here in the states... She is from France... Interested in my room. Wants send me money ASAP.  With all these other posts I read about her I m hesitate to continue relating with her.

"Rose Ward" was another name associated with the wonretieleya1@gmail.com address.

What's the scam?  They will send you a fake check for more than you ask, and they want you to send them the difference via wire or reloadable card.  They want you to hurry and send them the money before the phony check bounces.

Dec 27, 2013  Yes Ana Peterson Alias, just received text yesterday and persisted to send me money for the room. I told them that I saw internet with repeated posting for this telephone number. Definitely a SCAM.  Same story, with the graduate degree and driving very far needs parking......

Yep, same here, Sarah etc, told it the phone # was famous on the web, no txt after that

SCAM wanted to send money for rent and haven't seen the placed yet. She went by Sarah Wilson

and after that "she" only wants to send out check instead of answer my questions

THIS IS A SCAM...WANTS TO SUBLEASE...THEY ARE FROM "OUT OF THE COUNTRY", HOWEVER THE PHONE IS REGISTERED IN NY.  THEY NEED YOUR HELP GETTING THEIR CAR HERE SO THEY SEND YOU A PHONY AND ILLEGAL CHECK TO DEPOSIT AND ASK YOU TO SEND BACK A MONEY ORDER RIGHT AWAY SO THEY CAN HAVE THEIR CAR DELIVERED...I HOPE NO ONE IS DUMB ENOUGH TO FALL FOR IT, BUT HERE'S A GOOD HEADS UP....

Scam! I posted an ad to craigslist looking for a sublessor for the summer. This person pretended to be a masters student moving to my city. "She" was apparently born in France and moved here for school, which was a great cover up for the slightly broken English in her text messages. I asked her to skype, she said she didn't have it but if I provided my facebook link she would add me as a friend. That's when I looked up this phone number. Freaky stuff.
How are you supposed to deal with this? Report it to police?

Seems interested in renting, doesn't seem to remember a thing I say about the room. Scam.

Received multiple text messages about someone wanting to rent my apartment. I told this person multiple times that I would have to meet them in person prior to agreeing to letting them move in. They tried persistently to get me to change my mind.

This is a rental scam number
