A week or so later, I received the same message and I hung up on it again.

I don't care weather it's Google or not. It's a violation of TSR (Telemarketing Sales Rule) which came into effect on Sept. 1, 2009 from the FTC. If you receive a recorded message** (commonly called a "robo-call") you can report them. (Please see exclusions below).

Got a call from 347-982-0051.  Let the answering mach. pick it up.  They hung up.

some punk keeps calling and hanging up from this number.  i don't even get a recording and i'm on the do not call list!

Called the number back and was voice prompted how to added to their do-not-call list. The automated answer did not give a company name. I was able to hear "Google" as part of my Google Voice forwarding feature.
I filed a complaint for the number with National DNC list.

Received 2 phone calls from this number.  It is a robo call.

I've gotten 5 calls in the past few days from this number 347-982-0051.

just received a call on my cell phone  it is an 818 los angeles area number.. didn't pick up due to area code, then searched here...glad I didn't pick up....

Did not pick up the call.   How/where do you report such illegal calls as my phone number is on no-call list.

Called and left no message.  I don't know anyone from NY so I didn't pick up.

Have been reieving calls every once in a while ,till today ,  4 calls today, I opted out by following their no call list, prompts, then I recieve two more after that

These people have called me too freuently lately.  Most often, I attempt to get soneone on the line to politely request they take me off their call list.  This time someone answered, but was quite rude when telling me "Your's is a business number... there's no no-call list for you," and hung up.  No call for such rudeness.

These SOBs really ought to get a real life and a real job instead of such BS.  No one deserves this crap.

Call came in at 1:50 p.m.  My caller I.D. shows it originated from New York, NY.  I did answer, but after three 'hellos' the caller disconnected.  I won't answer again.  Pricks.

Robocall pitching Google listings. No doubt the same losers who tried the same crap with "Google 411", Google hopefully made them cease & desist from that name. Robocalls are now Illegal since February so they are no doubt off-shore (G-411 was definitely India and my guess is Photon Infotech... scammers still).
I only get maybe one call a day 2, 3 days in a row and I never answer. May their genitals and bank accounts shrivel to nothing!

Called last night at 9:45 pm and then again this afternoon. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.

I happend to answer and no one was there / probably a machine.

On Aug. 6, 2010 at 2:09 pm, I received another Google "online directory" call, and I hung up on it
again. It was the same number calling.

My number is a Los Angeles 818 number.

they just called meand don't say anything... typical scam bull$hite

Thanks for the update, keep calling, no one there.  Now i know to ignore future calls.

they left a message that said "remove from list".  that's it.  weird.

Called at 3:40pm PST. Left no message.

Just another SCAM.

This number has called me 3 times today alone - I am in BC Canada and its pretty ridiculous.
