I've been getting calls from an Eastern accent speaking gentleman or several weeks now...about two times a week on average from different.  He'll call a few times from the same # then use a different # and another, a few times from each #.  I have started telling him that he needs to call back and leave a voicemail b/c I am work and cannot talk.  He just says "ok" and then hangs up.  Has never left a voicemail and I don't expect that he will.  Having worked as a telemarketer before, I learned that there is a "remove from list" option.  Ever since then I have used the "do not call" registry and also tell telemarketers to remove my info from their list.  It does take a few days to a couple of weeks for that process to happen but no further calls should come in after then.  Give the "remove me from your list" option a try and see if he calls back.      

keep calling house using caller id 512-900-5400 and 352-415-0411 saying that our computer is maliciously corrupt and spamming from our address.  heavy, heavy accent who keeps calling back

They call for my mother.  The accent is clearly Indian, so probably some call center.  We ordered a Digitone call blocker a few weeks ago and it seems to be helping block these calls.  

I keep receiving calls from this number even though I am on the no call list. Have told this man to not call again but to no avail.

These guys called claiming to be from Microsoft asking to have access to my computer to fix viruses...ya right lol.  They have a heavy accent.  When I called back It said that this is not a working number...  

This number calls frequently asking for my elderly mother and says "U.S. Medical Equipment"..I have asked them at least 4-5 times to remove our number from their list.....but they continue to call......!!!!!

When I answered caller hung up.

So thankful you all post what is going on to know as this is happening to me.  I am not answering returning the call.

Right ? I've had the same stupid guy call every single day for the past 3 months with the same scam. Sometimes, I answer the phone with Sherrifs Dept, and he hangs up, but calls again later. A**H****

Continued from above..I couldn't make that recording stop calling me and it was a non working number when I called back. I'm finally down to only a couple of these morons. One guy calls EVERY SINGLE DAY. Like he ONLY has my number. I'd like to beat his face in. I recognize his stupid sounding voice. Thick accent.

I was finally able to block PRIVATE CALLS, but, I ordered something off an infomercial, since that day, I received 30-50 calls per day, Mostly private#'s or unknown, but also Jamaica and now, since the block, this number. I won this, I won that, medical this, medical that, I won a grant for school, (I'm retired) just anything and everything. They WON'T STOP, and I'm pretty sure it stems from the infomercial purchase. My bank actually blocked my card on their own because a merchant kept trying to take money it. All these people have thick accents, they won't stop. They have my address and sent realistic looking fake checks. It's been a night mare. Scammers, all of them. I even had a recorder call every half hour for a month and couldn't make

received call heavy accent claiming to be from a medical dept, could not understand name of medical dept, asked him to repeat the name and spell it he then said pennsylvania, when I again asked for name of the medical dept, he said don't you live in ......... haven't you heard of it, I said I don't live there and he hung up.  So tired of these a***oles, getting multiple calls a week from either Fla or Cal. all accents and either medical something or computer, once they realize they aren't going to scam you why won't they delete the number. I hope they all rot in hell.
