DO NOT SIGN UP FOR VI RESORTS! They will wheel and deal and tell you all about the great local trips you can take. What they don't tell you is for almost all of them, you have to schedule your weekends away a year or more in advance. They are not helpful. The operating fees are horrible and you will pay WAY less purchasing points from someone who is unhappy with their deal as once you sign up, you cannot cancel and no matter what the sales person tells you, they will not help you sell it.

Also, the free trip you get must be taken mid-week.

They offer a free round trip flight to designated areas. Including a three day, two night stay at a hotel. They say that you have to sit through a 90 min. time share seminar, but you don't have to buy anything. To be considered for the fpackage you need to have a $50,000 income and a major credit card.

Called yesterday, left no message.  Called back today and I answered.  Woman says she is from VI Resorts and I was selected for a "free" round-trip airfare and 3 night stay at one of their resorts.  I only have to sit through a 90 minute presentation about their timeshare.
