I push every button except 1, computer voice "not a valid selection". finally get a dial tone.
Next time I'll play the recording of SIT tones, or whatever they are called.

thanks for your information. however, it is best not to answer any calls you do not know.  After checking you can always return the good calls. But when you answer it tells the SKAMMING BUMBS that this is a good number and they sell it to someone else.

I unplugged my business answer machine and let the JERKS ring almost 20 times.  Have some fun with them.

Apparently someone else is using this # since the elections are over. It hung up after I answered so I don't know what it was for. The following is my usual telescammer note for these pages.

I have a couple of ways to deal with these parasites. First, I let the phone ring three full times before I pick up. I pick up and don't say anything for 2-3 seconds. If it is a computer autodialer, 80-90% of the time the computer will hang up thinking it has gotten a voice mail or answering machine. After 2-3 seconds, I say our company name, but don't give out my name. That way they don't automatically have a name if they call back and get someone else. If I still get a person and they insist, I tell them my name is "Richard Smith"(it's not). It is none of their business what my real name is, they are telescammers who are breaking the law. If they persist in calling over and over again, I tell them that my boss is available, and then I use a sports air horn right next to the phone. What are they going to do, sue me? "Your Honor, I was illegally telescamming and they deafened me!" Good luck with THAT argument. The judge might give me a medal. Reporting these "people"(I use that term loosely) to the Do Not Call Registry is futile, they are usually spoofing their phone number anyway. If you have the time, have some fun with them. See how long they will stay on hold or still be on the line if you put the phone down. Take your cordless into the bathroom and have an extended "deposit" at the Porcelain Bank, complete with very loud fake sound effects. Tell them you ARE the boss and listen to their sales pitch, never saying yes to anything, but always saying that you will look at your numbers and see what you can do. Some scammers will record any affirmative answer you give and then splice it into a call and bill you for whatever they are selling, using that as evidence of an order. Waste as much of their time as you can, because that keeps them from scamming other people, and it can be a really fun stress reliever! Anything that we can do to make this less profitable for these ticks on the butt of humanity is a plus. Feel free to pass this on or add to it with your fun ways of taking back your phone lines. If these idiots would get a real job, the world would be a better place for all of us.

A call offering the business owner a loan from $5000. to $ 50,000 for a "small percentage of the company's profits" over the next year.  Sounds like loan sharks or someone fishing for personal info.  
By reading the comments previously posted, this is a multi-purpose number going from one scam to the other.
FYI- I listened to a pre-recorded message and did not press #9 to speak to a real crook.

This call had a recorded message that was very messed up - you couldn't even figure out what was said.  It has been played so many times it doesn't work anymore. REALLY ANNOYING!!!!!

Automated Romney campaign call.

Called the number back and had my number removed from their calling list so they won't call again. I have no idea what the caller wanted since they didn't speak when I answered and I really don't care what they wanted. I have NO patience for people/telemarketers bothering me on a Sunday or any other day of the week.

From what they told me  they are the Baptist AAA Alliance. They are trying to get donations for a new church in Florida. I told them to take me off their call list as I am not a baptist but were very pushy at trying to get a donation. Never heard of this group and may be may be scammers preying on seniors but not sure.

This was not a messege from the Romney Campaign. It is in fact a message from the dumbocrats and is nothing more than b***s***. I am Barack Obama and I approve this message. BEEEITCH

Still going strong - robo calls. No message with this one, but the last one from another local politician did leave a message. I can't wait until this election is over. Do vote!
