Same here. Received a bill for $65 dated very late December 2012. Our company goes through NetworkSolutions so this "bill" seemed off.

Exact same thing, bill for $65.00.  We just recently upgraded our website and I'm guessing that's how they found us.  This company has an F rating with the BBB and I imagine the amount of complaints will grow soon.

Yes, got one too.  Did one complaint with the FTC and one with the WA Attorney General.  The company's corporate license number in WA is UBI 603218869 and the registered agent is Glenn Loehr.  There are reviews of this company on yelp.com and ripoffreport.com.  There are also a couple of separate websites report the same thing in ALASKA.  I saw the same type of invoice for a ripoff company that wanted $225 for copies of posters that CA requires for businesses to have that can be downloaded for free from the state.  Same scam.  This is an old scam that goes back to the 1950s!  For domain name services, I would only use a reputable company like godaddy.com.  Any company that operates in this manner is probably morally deficient.  I am being nice here and not writing what I am really thinking which includes a big pile of digestive matter from a large vegetarian mammal.  I'll leave the species to your imagination.

this is from an incredibly unethical company (??) that sends out an invoice unsolicited.    There is fine print that says is it not an invoice but a solicitation.    This company should be put out of business.....

Me too. I just got an "invoice" from a company called DNS Services. I never ordered anything like that. It seems they get the info from your company website and then use that info to try and provide a DNS service. Although your own hosting company should already be providing this service that the other company wants to trick you into buying.

I read the middle print and it says, "THIS IS A SOLICITATION FOR THE ORDER OF GOODS OR SERVICES, OR BOTH AND NOT A BILL, INVOICE, OR STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT DUE. YOU ARE UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO MAKE ANY PAYMENTS ON ACCOUNT OF THIS OFFER UNLESS YOU ACCEPT THIS OFFER."

So, basically, they are making it seem like a real invoice when it is just a solicitation. I guess they want you to call the number so they can verify your address and phone number exist and then try to scam you by tricking you into accepting the service. Tricky b*****ds.
