It's not DISHONEST, it's free if that's all you choose to get is the free 8X10.  Of course it's a way of them soliciting additional business.  I don't see anything wrong with that.  I think they are great and have used them since they took my baby's photos in the hospital.

This is 365 Portraits.  The photos are very beautiful, it's an easy experience to have photos of your children taken in house, but the packages are very expensive.  The cheapest package is about $300 from what I remember.  I was suckered into purchasing a "3 year photo session" when they first came to photograph my son a month or two after birth.  We ended up spending about $300 on photos then, and they always offer a return visit with a free 8x10.  Again, when he turned 1, I spent $300 - which was the cheapest I could buy!  It isn't worth having them come to the house for the ONE free 8x10 - you won't be able to turn down all of these amazing shots, and you will have to swallow that those shots will be lost forever - unless you want to dish out at least $300....  There is no a la carte pricing, or price per sheet as I remember.  I told them to not bother calling me, I would just eat the cost for pre-purchasing the "3 year photo session" and that I didn't want them to call anymore... Well, they just called today.  I didn't answer, and no message.

THEY DONE PHOTOS FOR MY NEWBORNBABY WHEN I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL. A MONTH LATER THEY CALLED AND SAID I GOT FREE PHOTOSEESION. SO I AGREED. THEY CAME, TOOK PHOTOS. WHEN THEY CAME BACK, WITH CD AND PHOTOS ETC, THEY WANTED OVER 1000 DOLLARS FOR THE PACKAGE. I DINT WANT TO BUY IT, I SAID F**K IT. BUT THEY KEPT CALLING ME EVERY DAY, SO FINALLY I PURCHASED ONLY CD WITH MY BABY PHOTOS. THEY WERE REALLY GREAT, REALLY CUTE, BUT I PAID 700 BUCKS FOR IT.. I'M A LOOSER I KNOW, I SHOULDNT BUY IT BUT THE PHOTOS WERE SO INSANELY BEAUTIFUL. SO I DI IT. TODAY THEY CALLED ME AGAIN. BUT I AM NOT GOING TO DO THIS AGAIN, MY BABY IS GOING TO BE 1 YEAR OLD IN TWO WEEKS AND I AM GOING TO SEARS TO TAKE SOME NICE PHOTOS.

I realize this is older... but about how much did you have to spend? they are coming out on Monday to show me the results of the portraits they took and I don't want sticker shock!! any chance you remember what you paid

This company takes "professional" portraits. I know people that have had infant pictures taken by them. They are contracted to take photos of your baby while you are still in the hospital.

Already asked to be put on a DNC list and they are calling AGAIN obnoxiously.

I just got a call from them and missed it, called them back and asked them to remove me from their call list. They did it without any hassle, didn't try to sell me anything, and were very pleasant about it.

I received the same call just today and it also stated that it was from cute kids. i registered with cutekids two years ago but never did anything with it and the coming to your home thing sounds fishy to me and i will not be calling and I am apalled that cute kids would give out phone numbers like that. i am deleting my account because frankly i was also suspicious of cutekids but nothing had ever happenned so i was trusting them and now, im just not sure. unless this company somehow hacked into their database. I think I will be calling CuteKids to get more info

I got a call yesterday and didn't answer - they left no message.  I got a call today -this time I answered.  Said they are some studio associated w/ CuteKids and apparenty I registered on there and they are offering to come to my home and do a photo session and give us a free 8x10.    This sounds really werid to me- as I never had any proffesional pics taken of my child yet- nor have I ever hear of the coming to your home thing.     I don't know- but this New Yorker is not buying it!

This call is from 365 Portrait Pictures.  Wish I could afford nice family pics(Recession).  I'll Probably just answer next time and cut them short when the "sales pitch" starts.  Or, I could get the free 8x10 then tell them "Cya, the constant phone calls with no message turned me off.... Just want my freebie..."

I'm not sure if it's the same people or not because I didn't answer and no message, but yes they do come to your home (365 Portraits). We used them once. Their pics are Olan Mills quality or better, but just as expensive :-( They WILL give you one free 8"x10" and then ask you to buy something. They come out to your home and spend time with the child in amazing and interesting poses, but then you have to turn down these wonderful pictures if you can't afford them :-( They are VERY pricey, but I felt it was worth the free 8x10 and because my dd is undiagnosed. At the time we didn't know how long we'd have with her. I did splurge and buy some pics. Absolutely gorgeous, but too expensive to do all the time :-(

This is indeed the photo studio company that took baby pics at the hospital.  Caller states that "we owe you a photo from the package and it's already paid for, let us know in the next day when you are home so that our photographer who is in the area can take your free photo for you that was missing from your package."  This is actually not the case as what they are trying to do is have a photographer come to your home, take a bunch of photos, and offer you one 8x10 for free.  It is quite frankly a DISHONEST statement and a way for them to try soliciting additional business as when questioned they state "oh, there is a small note in the package you received indicating the missing photo."  I went through every single piece of paper in the package and there was no note to that effect.  I also called the number for the company that billed for the photos from the hospital and they said that this is a related company or something like that and there is no photo that was paid for and not received.  I hate SCAMMERS!  If they were up front and did not LIE about us having already paid for the photo they were coming by for in our original package, then I may have actually considered using their services!

This call is from 365 Portrait Pictures. They call us about once a year and say they owe us a free 8x10 portrait of my daughter. They do a great job and most of the photographers are nice but they do pressure you into buying more pictures and they are not cheap. Considering the current economy I am going to pass on the free portrait because if sounds too good to be true, it is.

Got a call from them too and now it makes sense who it's from. I loved the photos they took of all my kids but they are ridiculously overpriced. you may get one free photo but you'll easily have to spend much more, they do take great pics so you'll probably love them and want to buy them. But their packages are way too much in this crazy economy!

I just got a call from them, too, but I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  That's funny that someone mentioned the 360 portrait company because we used them about 1 month ago.  I don't know why these companies never leave messages!

Actually, they do wonderful photos and they come to your home to take them. Much less stressful than taking the kids to the mall and we've loved the pictures they've taken. In addition they also make the digital images available which no mall store I've seen will do.

Yes these are the 365 portrait people that took photos of my baby at the hospital. They say they owe me a free 8x10 and they offer to come to your home for the photo session...i dont know if it's really free. I would hate to schedule the appt then get asked to buy more pictures.

I think it is a portrait studio number-Our 360 portraits. They take photos of your baby in the hospital and also come to your home to do photo sessions. Does that make sense?
