I recommend to trace the call. Call your carrier! Report to the police.

Rcvd call at 721am... no message left

just received a call from this number saying my Bank of America card was suspended and that I should push 1 to reactivate it.  I didn't push it obviously since I don't have a B of A account.  Clearly a scam...reading the same from others regarding this same number.  That said, I am sure someone will have an account, push the 1 and will be taken to town.

Got an unwanted call at 12:39 a.m. Did not answer.

Just recieved a phone call from this number at midnight, mountain time.  I gave it a made up credit card number (1111222233334445) and fake everything else that was obviously obserd to see where it went.  After I typed in all the info it just said "thank you" and hung up.  If you call it back it's an invalid number.  See a ton of posts...how are they able to keep calling people???

THIS IS A SCAM! I got a call last month from a different # but the same recording only it said to speak to the security department press 1. When I did, it just hung up. 2 days later, we were contacted from our bank asking if we were making purchases in Canada!  We have never banked at Wells Fargo.  The charges showed up as POS (point of sale) saying the card was present! The thieves have figured out how to make fake cards & then acitvate them when you press 1.  IF YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER, DON'T ANSWER IT! If it's a legit call, the person will leave you a message.

Received a missed call at 10:45 pm from this number, left no message and couldn't call back (was disconnected or not in service).  Not sure how that works since a call had just came from that number.

Called my phone at 3AM.  One of the fortunate ones that didn't answer.

Rec'd call 9:30pm 10/29 from unavailable # last week, automated message "from" Wells Fargo. Today at 1pm was same automated message from 373-674-6863.  I hung up & called it back but it was invalid #. I don't even have a Wells Fargo account!

Called and woke me at 3 am and falsely claimed to represent Wells Fargo.

I got a very similar phone call, except my call was from 503-468-5002.  I looked up the location of this call, and it's located from Astoria, Oregon, which is the completely opposite side from where I live.  Called me at 2:32 p.m. yesterday, while I was in class.
They asked me the same questions though, to "verify information" and that they said my Wells Fargo will be cancelled in less than 3 days, so they told me to push "1".  I just hung up.

Here you can file a complaint about phone numbers so that they will not call you anymore, and you can register your phone number on the National "Do-Not-Call Registry."  It really works!

I just got the same call as Ric with a 373 area code.  The automated voice said that my Wells Fargo card had been deactivated and to push "1" to reactivate the card. Then the message said I would have to answer 3 questions to verify my identity. First question asked me to enter my 16 digit card number. I hung up. I hope others did too! I will call Wells Fargo tomorrow and see if they are tracking this. It was suspicious even before I answered the call as it was 10:45 PM. The number was 373-674-6863.

I just got a call from this number, hung it up immediately and called Wells Fargo.  The verified that it was NOT from them.  DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION TO FOLKS THAT CALL YOU.

Just received an automated call from this number saying it was from Wells Fargo and my card had been placed on hold, to reinstate the card, press "1". Called the bank and they said their internal investigator was aware and conducting an investigation. They confirmed it was a scam.

I also got a phone call from this number... at 11:41pm. The automated voice said that my Wells Fargo card had been limited and I needed to reactivate it. I hung up immediately since I do not have any dealings with Wells Fargo, and even if I did, I know they would not call at 11:41pm! Does anyone know how to report this so they can stop whoever is behind it?

Just got a call from them, no message. I see on here that they are calling about Wells Fargo, but i have NEVER had anything with them, so it must be a scam.

I just spoke with a woman at Wells Fargo after getting this call as well

She gave me reportphish@wellsfargo.com  as the email address they're
asking folks that have gotten this call to report and let them know.

She also confirmed there are folks that have been scamed having given their
account information and that they have helped them close their accounts and set things right.
