Federal Financial on caller ID
Very nasal sounding Tim telling me I had won a scratch card only I thought he said I had won a skirt. I let him finish his speil about a trip to the Bahamas and then told him no one at our company was allowed to receive any type of prizes and he hung up. They've called back 3 more times. They want to ask me 3 "simple" questions so they can award me my prize the first one was if I was a full or part time worker. I told him to put us on their do not call list.

They called me yesterday. It beeped 3 times then hung up. They called me again today, and this time there was a woman on the line. She said she was from Federal Financial, and that my phone number was chosen in their lucky scratch card giveaway. I asked her to remove me from the list, and she politely said that she would do that and said goodbye and hung up. So, we'll see if they call again.

these are call bots. Just answering your phone confirms they have a good working number. If you do not recongnize the name on your caller ID. DO NOT ANSWER. Just let it ring. Even if they call over and over. It takes a while, but they will stop. Do not even pick up and hang up, because they still know they got a working number. it takes time and patience but eventually they stop or call less often.

Calls every day or so nobody there when I occasionally pick up. Once, I think I heard a voice as I was hanging up. I believe these a***s use an auto dialer that alerts a real person when the call gets picked up. There seems to be a delay between the instance when a call is answered and routed to an available extension. Hence that delay is longer than most people are willing to keep saying "hello". Stupid system if you ask me.
When the same # calls enough times to really bug me, I call them, and threaten to report them toFTC IF I receive one more call. That seems to work about 65% of the time. About 25% they use a slightly different # therrest just keep it up. I hope this helps someone.

First there was just somebody humming, then a click, then an obnoxious woman who said her name was Laura, from Federal Financial, and I'd won a free scratch card giveaway. I pointed out that 1) no, I hadn't and 2) she was a liar.
