Just got a call from Maria at Federal Financial Group. As a promotion they wanted to ask a few questions to provide us with a scratch off card that had either a Ford Explorer, 27 inch tv or a vacation winner. I told her we were not interested and she kept asking for the age range to "verify" the scratch card. If finally said No thank you and hung up.

This number just called me again. When I answered I heard a distorted voice saying something (maybe "hi"), then they hung up. Our office was closed this week and when I looked through our caller ID I saw that this number called yesterday as well but didn't leave a voice mail.

Called and said I had already won a prize. I was skeptical and didn't want to give him too much info, but the interesting thing was he asked what category my income fell into, and when I said the lowest category he gave, then he said thanks, they were looking for people in a different category. Guess I'm too poor to scam.

I received a call from this number on my work phone. The woman asked to speak to our manager (we're a church and have no one with the title of "manager"). I had someone else on hold so I asked her if I could put her on hold. She very loudly said "NO!" and hung up.

Missed over 12 calls from this number in the past month to my cell phone. I don't own a business, so I have no idea why they keep bothering to call. Finally decided to call them this morning. It went straight to voicemail, which gave me the option to leave a message with my phone number in order to be removed from the list. Crossing fingers that it works.

I've gotten several calls from this number before and let them ring, but today I decided to answer. They are obviously using an autodial system, because there were several seconds of silence before someone came on the line. The girl I spoke to (she sounded like a high schooler) said she was from Federal Financial and said something about my company winning a scratch off ticket. I interrupted her and said that this was not a company, it was a private residential phone number, and she muttered something about wrong numbers and hung up on me. I filed a Do Not Call complaint, but I doubt anything will be done to stop these people.

Don't know who they are, but they sure like to call. I see the number and just mute my ringer. That way, they stay on the line for a while longer, waiting for the answer that never comes. HAH!
