THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN CALLING MY PHONE ABOUT 2-3 A WEEK FOR THE PAST MONTH. VERY ANNOYING. I NEVER ANSWER... THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE.

2 calls yesterday, 3 calls today.

i too keep getting calls from this number.  the name shows up as "Providence, RI"   who is it/what company is it?

Showed unknown but the number was 1-401-352-5472.  No one responded to "Hello" when I answered the phone.

This number called my home several times.  Never left a message.  I finally answered and said they were calling to ask if I support mayoral candidate Fiorentini.  I asked if they were calling from Rhode Island (401 area code) and the woman said "No"; when I told her the caller ID said Rhode Island, she said "Really?" in a tone that sounded insincere.

This phone number is obviously from a company from out of state hired for political polling purposes.

Been getting calls for a week on my cell phone. Rings three times and they hang up. Time to report them to the following: 1: Police ie Harrasment 2: state attorney general

I got called agian. This number showed up on the caller ID.  I was able to talk to the interviewer who called; he was very respectful and understanding that some prople don't want to participate in surveys or polling.  This company has taken the step to maintain an internal "Do Not Call Registry" which you can easily sign up for on their website:  www.OpinionFactor.com  there is a sign up page there.  While the national DNC directory does not apply to survey research since they are not trying to sell me anything, this company is forward-thinking enough to make this polling and research "Do Not Call" registry an option.  Maybe if more companies did this then we wouldn't be going nuts with all the calls we get!!

Number came up earlier today and I did not answer. Came up again now and I answered. No one on the line.

Received call from 401-352-5472 today at 3:40PM EST  D/N/A call.

I have talked to them before and they asked me how i liked banking with my current bank and so on. as of the past week, they have been calling 2 to 3 times a day.

it's a survey company

Called twice today. No message. What's wrong with folks?!

I got a call from 401-352-5472. I am blocking that number on my cell phone.

Called and hung up.  When I said "Hello?"  They said, "Hello?" in a mocking tone, then hung up.

Annoying.  Several of this number over a few days on the caller ID when I'm out. No messages left.

called again today; we had fun because I have TV station here on the complaint - I answered and can't wait to see if its on TV tonight - told me he was calling on behalf of APC, and I asked them not to call again

Caller hung up as I answered.  Probably fishing for phones that answer for later prospecting.

I googled 401-352-5472, and it led me here.  (Thank God)  This number has called me every other night, for the last 2 weeks, always between 8p-9p my time zone.

They call me two to three times everyday.  When I picked up one time no one was there.

repeated calls - UNAVAILABLE - I am on do not call list - I made the mistake of buying an APC unit which failed during the recent power out. Get mail from them every two weeks, asking if I want to buy more of their products. When "registering," I usually give a fictional number . . . whyyyy??

This is the second phone number that is exhibiting the very annoying habit of calling my mobile phone number multiple times a day, waits for my voicemail to answer and start recording, and then they hang up. I am very sick of these nuisance calls.

I have been getting two calls per night from this number on my home number for the past week.  The caller ID says:  "Unknown Caller 401-352-5472."  I don't answer calls when I don't recognize the number.  If they don't leave a message, then I know it's a telemarketer.  I too am on the Do Not Call list and I get many calls from telemarketers.  The list doesn't seem to be working very well.

Got a call from these b*****ds around 9:20am ,which is a pretty annoying time for someone that I don't know to be calling me. Like the last time they called me ,I didn't bother to pick it up. I'll try to record their call if they call me at a time when I'm awake and near my computer. I think I might prank these fools too. I don't know who they think they are to be calling people in the morning.

Got a call from 401-352-5472 yesterday at 1:17.  Nobody responded when I answered.

Just called.  Wasn't able to reach the phone in time.  No message left.

Hung up when I answered... probably wanted to verify it was a human

Yes, I get the same hand up when I answer.  Several today for the first time.  I to bought an APC product the last 60 days and registered it on-line.
My one phone caller ID just says "Proidence RI", my other phone gives the 401-352-5472 on caller ID.
