Same thing happened to me.  2 calls this week so far from them.  Who are they?

I never answered the call and thought they would leave a message but the caller never did. I still won't answer it but would like to know who it is.

keep getting annoyoing calls from 401-558-0025--no messages left.

I keep getting calls on my cell from this number. When I tell them to remove me from their calling list, they simply hang up on me!  If you call the number, in a recording it tells you "if you want to be removed from our calling list, simply key in the phone number you wish to have removed"..I've done this several times and they still continue to call me.

After repeated phone calls and repeated requests to STOP CALLING, I am still receiving calls.

This is a company provided cell phone.  If they do not stop I will notify the Michigan Attorny General and the Federal DO NOT CALL listing which I placed this phone number on.

I have just filed a complaint with the FTC on these guys, GO GET 'EM!!!

Hey you guys at 401-558-0025, KNOCK IT OFF!!!

I am getting called 4 to 5 times a day from this number 401.558.0025.  Everytime I yell at them to put me on the Do Not Call list they drop the call from me.  I'm on some dang phone list and I can't stop the calls.  When you call the number back it goes to some automated message.

This is getting beyound frustruting, I want to find the company so I can sue them, if anyone has information please post a response.

When I called the number, I got a message saying, "If I wanted to be placed on the do-not-call list, press 1."  I didn't do this because I wanted to see who was calling.  They simply hung up.

The next time you get a call from these people, stay on the line with them and see if you can get transferred to the people that are actually offerring the product.
Then you can ask them what call center they are using to dial Outbound leads (US!) and let them know that they are not respecting the national Do Not Call list which they could be fined up to $15,000 per incident for.  I bet the company will be very interested to hear that the call center they are using is breaking Federal Law.
Just a thought.

Got a call from this number. I do not know anyone in Rhode island. Dont know if I ever knew anyone from that number. I recently registered on Jobs.com and now I get all kinds of calls from places like this.  I programmed my fax machine to repeatedly call them and harass them like they are doing me.  Jerks.

Forgot to mention The number for EngageTel Inc is 301-223-0458 (or was it edited?).  They can put you on the do not call list.  

EngageTel Inc is a legitimate company out of New York.  Good luck finding any info on them however...

More info for you.  If this 401-558-0025 number continues to call you, do this:  Call Engagetel Inc.  and ask them to quit calling you. Apparently Engagetel can have your number removed from the list and the companies have to comply.

This # has called me 6 times in the last two days.  You call the number back and it simply says if you wish to be taken off of are call list press 1.  Funny, because I blocked the call.....so how would they know what # to remove?  

Guess I will just add another # to the blocked caller list.

If anyone gets a company name, please post it. So far 100% of the calls they're placing to our office have been dropped by their autodialer. One dropped call every day since the middle of March = lots of money in my pocket, if I can find out who these jokers are!

Received a phone call saying our warrantee was about to expire on our vehicle, but press 1 to speak to an agent to take care of this.  No indication which manufacturer was calling, pressed 1 and waited for someone to answer, when they did, they would not confirm what company they were calling on behalf of, just kept insisting they wanted make model and vin of vehicle.  I said they should have that or how would they know the warrantee was expiring, he then just hung up.

Tried calling the number back and only gave option to press 1 to be put on do not call list.

Could tell that it was an unknown number (to me) but always thinking that it could be someone who knows me. Of course stupid telemarketers and the audio was so poor unbelieveable creeps. They are indeed from RI (looked it up), I am all the way on the west coas. What happened to the DO NOT XALL list??? I have registered and registered and registered still get those %^&* creeps bothering me. How can we stop them forever and ever.
