received just such a call from someone with indian accent supposedly from FL yesterday. had a bad cold, stuffy head, and fell for their spiel. anyway i can cancel order from being charged to my credit card?

Me and my husband keep getting calls every weekend from this number. I want it to stop. can you help?

Scam phone company offering deals of a free phone with no charge and that they are a subdivision of my service provider.  When I asked them why my service provider had not mentioned this to me 5 seconds earlier when I was on the phone with them, the man hung up.
This is the second time they have called me and tried to tell me that I would get a free phone....if it sounds to good to be true...it probably is.  I have never known my phone company to give me a free phone:)

I live in Canada the newest thing with them is they are calling about windows seven and vista saying that my home computer has a malicious virus . The phone line kept cutting in and out and was very hard to understand them eventually in the end they hung up. I never caught their name as it was hard to hear them.

"Mike" called to say Microsoft had advised them I am going to have a problem with my computer because I downloaded something "bad". The Computer Repair Dept can help me fix my computer for a fee. Sigh......These peple are so stupid, but there must be even dumber amrks out there

These people call me almost every day, sometimes twice saying they are from a pharmacy and I have prescriptions there. I don't let them continue since it is obviously a scam. They have mid-eastern accents and use another number sometimes. They will not stop calling!! If it continues I will call the police and press charges for harrassment. I am from the US, but obviously most of you are not.

Received a call on my cell from someone claiming to be from Solo Mobile.

Same deal as the other guy, not sure if serious. Was passed up to "supervisor", attempted to get my S.I.N from me.

I recieved this same call many time...and come to find out its from a company thats called 'Global meds' When i inquired about this they said that I was a past customer of online pharmcy drugs. When i heard this I asked them who exactly are they seeking, they wouldn't give a name. After many missed calls and several attempts of communicating requesting to be taken off there call list as proven null.

This guy is just trying to get credit card numbers.    The actual number appears to be owned by RNK Communications, a VoIP service provider.  File complaints with the RNK Communications, FCC, FTC and FBI.  Maybe we can put this scammer in jail.

I received a call today from this number and showing it coming from Rhode Island so I immediately suspected a scam or sales call.  I have a home office and was on my computer when I answered. The man had a very thick spanish accent, called me Mrs. (which I am not anymore) and identified himself as being from TechMyHealth and that my computer was infected and sending error messages to them. He was calling to assist me with my problem. Right!!! I kept interrupting him about where exactly he was located and he kept trying to get his speech in. When I asked him about Rhode Island he did not understand. Told him it was a state in the US and to get his story straight.  At this point he hung up but apparently they must sound authentic to some as I found more information under the phone number of 02032870117--which is a UK telephone number and apparently they use different names but after one thing--access to your checkbook and computer

I live in Canada with only a cell number for a phone and this Rhode Island number called me. When I answered the phone there was no response to my numerous hellos. Finally an automated voice said "goodbye." I do believe this is a scam.

just got a call from this # on my cell phone (canadian).  informed the man, before he had a chance to speak, that my # is on the "do not call list", (because it is) and he had best not call me again.

If a politician ran on the promise to stop this harrassment they would be elected ina landslide.  However, most politicians are out of touch with the 'Common Man' - meanwhile wouldn't you love to call the so and sos back constantly and tie up their moronic lines?

I got a call from these people claiming to be solo mobile trying to send me a free trial phone who had received my number because I have a postive credit rating for phone bills. When they asked for my SIN I asked to hang up and call them back (on the solo main customer service line) to be sure they were who they said they were (got his employee id, and name, etc.). They acquiesced to my demands, I was transferred back to the employee, and now I have a new phone on the way for a trial period.... at no cost, no S+H no credit card asked for, nothing. Will post an update if I get screwed.....

Said he was calling from bell, wanted to send me a free phone. I am with Bell so I gave him some of my info but when he asked for my SIN I refused and hung up.

SCAM - this is not anything related to Bell.
Just wants personal information to gain access to credit cards etc.  This is the second time I have been called and offered a "free phone".  When confronted about it, the man hangs up.

My wife got a call from this Guy a few hours ago with exactly the same chat up lines -  luckily she is savy enough not to do anything. She rang me afterwards to ask about it.

Have gotten this guy calling a number of times - we don't have any microsoft programs - so I know it was a scammer.  I have reported them again on the do not call list here in canada - and sent messages to anyone else I can find in the US to stop this...

This number was *69'd on my phone after I answered and there was no one there. So I phoned them back long distance and got a busy signal.
