I just got the same e-mail from  weltfordbily011@gmail.com saying the same thing.  Claims to be a geophysical investigator  working in the "mountain."  The rest of the e-mail I got is almost identical to what i'm seeing on this thread.  Sure sounds like SPAM.  Anyone acutally been paid? Haha

Just received a TEXT from this number - 401-903-0706 - saying:

"Hello this is Mr Dennis Covers from United Health Group am i speaking with ______ _________ (my name)?"

This is obviously some kind of scam or spam and certainly NOT anything I'm going to do anything with.

Received txt from 435-558-1320, inquiring about a motorcycle on Craigslist.  He/she asked me to reply to his email account weltfordbily0112gmail.com with asking price and condition (which was already in the Craigslist Post). Did a quick Yahoo search and found this thread.  Thanks

Hey the same thing happened to me. The same number but different email. The email address was weltfordbily011@gmail.com. Supposedly the money is sitting in my PayPal account but there are a bunch of shady things about this guy. Something doesn't seem right at all. What should I do?

They are texting from 401-903-0397 and are now using the email address anthony.jodie11@gmail.com.  I have just listed my bike via cycle trader. All they ask for is lowest price and condition, however the phone number appears on way too many scam sites.

I received a text message from this number on 1/16/13 in response to an add I placed on Cycle Trader on line.  The message said, "Hello do you stil lhave your listed BIKE for sale if yes you can get back to me with your last asking price..via my email"  The email is davidmarks01234@gmail.com.

Yes, that same email address won't leave me alone either.  Either the person is pfishing for emails or they are perpetrating a fraud.

Either way, beware of this email.

I got the same message TE did from "David Mark" regarding the purchase of my motorcycle. LOL, what an idiot this guy!

this number continues to text me asking for my e-mail address in relation to an ad on cycletrader.com. All they're doing is fishing for my e-mail so they can add it some list to sell. I respond to their e-mail from my Yahoo account, which I don't care if it gets spammed or sold, since I hardly ever use it. the e-mail they want me to respond to is davidmark01234@gmail.com   This is the message they send  "hello do you still have your listed BIKE for sale if yes you can get back to me in private email (davidmark01234@gmail.com with your asking price..."  I've also gotten the "can't come for inspection due to my job....this is for my Dad, etc, etc" I know the FCC could get involved, but these criminals would do it again from a different number. I think the next ad I create will have a bogus phone number.

Then he emailed me this;
