I recieved a hang up call from this number...Was it a wrong number? Miss dial? if so be polite and say i'm sorry i dialed the wrong number...Don't just hang up that's not only rude it can be very disturbing...I have family all over the USA and I worry it could be someone in trouble. So please at least say sorry wrong number next time. Thanks

Charter automated message to confirm appointment that I made.  I didn't catch the call and it went to voicemail and left the detailed message.  This call was just what it was supposed to be.  I suspect some of you have a phone number that used to belong to someone else who moved and then made an appointment but didn't update their contact information.  How mad will they be when their appointment was supposedly canceled by them when it was actually you!  lol

Called, left message about a service call with Charter for tomorrow. I have not called Charter for almost 2 months. Called to verify, they had no record of any kind of service call since last year. Obviously some kind of scam.

i got a call and no answer from this nebraska number.

I got a call from this number, and the automated confirmation message didn't even say who the company is. They said if I'm not home when the technician arrives, I'll be charged $30. Really... I don't, and never have, used anything from this company. I've never called them, they don't know where I live, and I believe they don't even have a local branch... boneheads. With all the reports here, I wonder if their automated system is whacked, randomly calling people all round the world, lol. Or, is it a sneaky-a** marketing ploy to get more widely known?

The Prairie system called me to confirm my phone "install" for tomorrow. Why they need to come is beyond me. I am porting BACK to Charter and their MTA is already hooked up and blinking because it is not provisioned. All they need to do is flip a switch to bring the number over, provision the MTA, and I'll have dial tone. No wonder they went into bankruptcy. They send technicians needlessly.

This was a robot call to confirm a Charter internet hookup at my house. Problem is, I never requested internet service. I do have their cable TV. The billing department said I had requested it on Aug. 22. I do remember being polite and listening to the package offers from one of the service reps, but I never requested any internet service. Cancelled the false appointment of course. Wonder if the rep gets points or a commission for scheduling services whether folks want them or not.

This is Charter Cable--this number only calls if this is the number they have to contact you for an appt. This is the number who calls me when my cable/internet starts acting like "junk" and they have to fix it.

this was just an automated message from Charter confirming an appt i made to have my cable box fixed.  we'll just see if the guy shows up now......

This is an automatic voice messaging number Charter uses to confirm service calls.  Supposedly if you answer it will state the date/time of a previously arranged call and ask you to confirm it (or cancel, etc.).  If you miss it you'll probably have a caller ID of Prairie Voice S and nothing on your answering machine (it apparently cuts off when your message starts talking to it versus getting the number feed back (ie '1' to accept the appointment, etc.).  If you call the number back it will not ring (it apparently only send messages out).

It was a VM from Charter, I subscribed to them last week and it was an appointment reminder.

Suspected crank call informing me of a charter appointment tomorrow.  $60 due upon arrival of technician at my home.
