My husband recieved a call from this number last night.The caller asked for me by first and last name, and when my husband asked who was calling the caller hung up on him.

I receive at least one call a day, everyday (M-F)from this number. This has been going on for about a month, maybe longer. As soon as I answer they hang up.

I received a call and no reply when answered...private number shows up or 800 number on caller ID... Please stop calling whomever you are., I am not receiving solicitation calls-

If I want to donate to a charity/organization/etc., I will contact you. Thank you.

I received a call today from this number and no message?

Just got a call from this number and my mom answered it, they didn't speak up at first so my mom yelled in to the phone and they hung up.  They call us quite often.

This number has call everyday for the past week...I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't pick up.  Tonight my husband answered and a man asked for me by first name only, when my husband asked if there was something he could help him with, the man told him to tell me that "Josh" had called for me.  I am extremely annoyed that this organization would leave a message giving an impression that they are a friend or that I know this individual in some way.  My husband was baffled when I got home, asking, "Do we know a 'Josh'?"  Very unprofessional and FISHY!!  Called the 800 number listed and placed our number on their Do Not Call List!!

When I called the 800 number I was able to place myself on their do Not Call list.

I was able to call the number back and got a recording.  Stating that they are with the National Association of Police Athletic League and were trying to gain my support on some activities going on in my area.  They will try to contact me at a later time.  Interestingly enough, they gave an 800 number.  That 800 number is:  1-800-396-1757 and they operate during the hours of 9 am to 9 pm ET.  Ok...  definitely sounds fishy.

I received a phone call from these people today.  Fortunately I was in the shower, so I didn't get to answer the call.  I do recall getting phone calls from these people before, at least I think they are the same people.  Before they were claiming that they were from the local VFW asking for donations.  Well, my mother is the president of the ladies auxillary in a different state and said that they are not allowed to do telephone solicitations.  It does sound fishy that they are now claiming to be part of the Police Athletic Leagues.  Also, what would people from Bellevue do calling me from Lincoln for the VFW, wouldn't the local VFW be calling me for donations rather than from Bellevue?

I've since tried calling the number and all I get back is a busy signal.  Hmmm...  makes you wonder.

I called the number back to see who it was.....its a solicitation recording for the "National Association of Police Athletic Leagues" whomever that is.... looking for sponsors. (or something like that according to a recorded message)

It doesn't sound like a charity, and it DOES sound like a violation of the DO NOT CALL legislation.

2 calls from this number today, answered phone and no response.

I keep getting a call from this number every day.  I usually don't answer it because I don't recognize the number.  Tonight I picked up the phone and said "hello"  there was no response.  I'm not sure if it was one of those tele marketers so I hung up.  If you don't answer right away when I say hello, I just don't mess with you.

Caller ID only had the letter "O" and the number.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.
