I didnt answer so they left a message...which steals my mintes.   He said "Hi Barb give me a call at 476-8374.  His call came in on a different number....402-476-8020.  AND I'M NOT BARB.  He is calling from a social network and wants.to put your name ajd number n line for people.  I've had 2 stalkers i sure dontwant o sue them if the stalkers get my number.  But i will.

They left a message for me to call them back.  When I dialed the number the person answering said the person I was asking for was on another call and maybe she could help me.  I asked what their business was and she said they represent several different businesses.  Since I called from a different number than they had called me on (now I wish I would have blocked the id on this one) she couldn't find any information on me.  I asked again what was the name of their business.  She told me she couldn't tell me.  I said, "For heaven's sake" and hung up.
If a company can't tell you what their name is, then it's not a reputable company and either a telemarketer or a scam artist.
Don't give them any information.

So don't put your grandmas info down little boy.  I've dealt with them and if you owe a bill you owe a bill.  Pay it and they'll go away just like they did with me.

some guy Dustin has been harassing my underage daughter.  Calling stating for her to call him.  He finally got upset with her not calling him back today.  I called stating that I would involve the police the next call.  They won't identify who they are.

Some guy called me from his cell phone but left this number as his callback number on his voicemail.  His name is Juan Vargas- I googled the number that he called me from.  This guy knew my name even though I do not give it in my voicemail greeting.  This has got to be some sort of scam.

These people didn't even call me...they called my friend to get information on me and where to find me. So she gave me the number and the guy's name - Matt. I called and Matt wasn't available so I asked who they were and they wouldn't tell me. I told them that I can't/won't assist you if you don't tell me what company you are with and she said "fine, don't" and hung up on me.

And while im sure a debt collection agency would possibly call you for "location information" as they put it, i seriously doubt that anyone at any business would tell you that your liable for your sisters (?) debt...unless you were married or cosigned for her....you inbreeding cosigning dummy.... HA

It is Professional Choice Recovery.  They are a debt collector.  They will pull out ALL THE STOPS to try to get you to pay a debt.  They have contacted me before trying to collect a debt from my sister (she passed away a year and a half ago).  They told me that this could affect MY credit rating.  I called a lawyer and NO IT WON'T.  They will say anything to try to get you to pay even if you don't own it.

it was probably for the previous year - listen to what they say, theyre only calling because you didnt pay your bills.

My mother and father in law got a call leaving a message stating to have either myself or my husband call Matt.  Leaving this number.

Got a call from Stacy, wanting to know about my inlaws.  Wouldn't tell me what company she was with so I didn't give out info.  I also called back from my unlisted number and they answered without saying who they were.

I didn't answer, but caller left a message and sounded timid and like she just woke up. Said she was "Bridgette" and wanted me to give her a call back as she "cleared her throat and mumbled"..."I have a question I need to ask you"!!
Caller ID revealed "Private Caller", but she left her number.
I went immediately to computer and it brought me here.
SCAM I'm sure.  Hope no one calls her back.

I had a message on my answering machine telling me to call this number and ask for Megan.  They took my name and told me, after being on hold for awhile, that they were trying to contact my brother who had put my name down as a contact.  (Since we live in different states, my brother doesn't put me down as a contact for anything.)  They would not give me the name of the company or why they were trying to reach him.  They said that since he was over the age of 19 that they couldn't give out any information.

Got the same message. Someone named "Bridgette" wanting me to return a call. Never did as I don't know a single person named Bridgette and if it was important they would have left a more detailed message saying what the heck they wanted.

Asked for verification of Employment> Said they were PCR a financial company. Man anwswered and sounded like he just got up. Megan who called originally was on the phone. Told him they didn't sound like a company and to have someone that knew what was going on call me. Sounded more like a collection call

left message giving name, "Bridgette" said it was regarding school.
When I called back she identified the purpose as being debt collection for the Doane fall semester student account balance (good God, it's not even the end of the spring semester yet and they sent the account to collection?!?!?!?).
