They called me, claimed they got my info from Monster.com, but I closed that account a while ago. They're resume stalkers. I've gotten lots of calls from fly by night nursing agencies and they all say they got my info from Monster, and I've heard plenty of horror stories about most of them from nurses.. I'd never give them my info over the phone or talk to a place which I never applied for a job. I'll never go back to Monster.com, either. Even though I had my info on "private", they've given my info out to loads of questionable agencies. I did, in the past, try to work for 2 agencies, after 20 years experience they couldn't find any jobs for me? But they didn't wanted me to quit their agencies, either. I think these guys get money for the number of nurses they have signed up, but they rarely get you jobs.

I have gotten a couple of these on my cell phone, apparently my number used to belong to someone who was in healthcare because I get automated messages to call back about jobs in nursing.

Call from this number was so distorted that it was impossible to understand.  Came in around 4PM EST. Don't know why they called me since I am no longer working in the medical field.  From the above comments, it appears to be a head hunter for RN's, but that is only an assumption based on the previous comments above.  Caller ID provided the phone number, but name indicated private caller.

It's the number of a staffing agency located in Omaha, NE. It's called Aureus Medical Staffing. If they called you, and you are not a healthcare worker looking for travel work, then they most likely called the wrong number. :)

Not always true. They just called my 15 year old daughter who has never put a resume out there. These people are blatantly calling numbers on the donotcall registry. Reporting and blocking.

Traveling nurse agency, they get numbers from the state boards.

nurse recruiter for travel nursing....they call your number on your resume that they usually get somewhere online.

They left a msg, RES medical. I think they get your name off of sites like monster.com
