called this morning.

I am with DNC and still get these dam annoying calls. Telemarketing most likely.

I called the number back from my work phone and got a recording about special promotion marketing, blah blah blah.

They called my house Today Nov 4th 2009, 12pm pacific.  Automated focus group questions (RE: current events) using touch-tone.  Promised $100 from a "sponsor", after a survey. Survey went all the way through, and then a very tropical kinda recording says, that Caribbean Cruise Lines has modified your 100 gift to 200 gift and some free night or something. If you want it press 1. I just thought, the hell with it, I´d rather have the 100. But there are no other options. So it hangs up by itself. I later read about the Caribbean Cruise, it is one of those scams in which they involve you to pay for something you never get, and plus they use your information in case you gave it away. Be CAREFUL. ( Lucky I am paranoid about any kinda calls if it is not my husband, lol)

they  say they are a lawyer and i am beening sued i need to pay them 350.00 to stop the law suit

The number is owned by Citistream Communications out of Omaha NE.  The following is from their website.

Citistream Communication, Inc. is a licensed telecommunications carrier.  Citistream Communications, Inc. is not a telemarketer. It is a telephone service provider working with other telecommunication companies in providing services to their respective customers. It operates in the same fashion as any telephone company providing voice and data services.

I called them at 402-982-0200 and a rather nice lady asked for my number and the number of the person calling me and said that she would forward it to the right people to deal with the problem.

If you call the number back, you have the option to be put on their do not call list. I am not sure what organization/group/etc the call came from though

Robo Trash Call.

Seems like a Cruiseline promotion disguised as a political survey.  Or vice versa.

Up front, you're told is you answer 8 questions you'll receive a $100 gift certificate.  

After you answer the questions, you are told the gift cert is to a cruiseline (Carnival or Carribean) and then are subject to a 3 minute cruise pitch.

Press "O" for operator and you hear, "Your response do not qualify you for this offer" and it hangs up.

Called my work phone at 7:16 PM on Oct. 29th.  No message, caller ID says RC Poll.

Called my work desk @1:30p EST Friday Oct-29.  Automated focus group questions (RE: current events) using touch-tone.  Quick & painless, but promised $100 from a "sponsor", but they disconnected after a blurb about cruise line gift.

called my cell 2:00pm PDT, location said Omaha Nebraska

i dont even have a nebraska number and this number called me and left no message... this is just odd.

Called at 7:30pm last night, left no message.

Caller ID said RC Poll 402-982-0505 329pm.  No msg.  Poll - election junk?

I get calls from this number and five others.  When I look up the area code I'm getting places from Canada, Nebraska, Florida, Oklahoma, and wherever these people are--I'm nowhere near any of these!  They don't leave messages half the time, and the other half it's partial recordings claiming "it's urgent" but they don't answer if I call them back and no one identifies themselves.  They just keep calling, 1-3x a day.  The sad part is that I don't have a credit card, so what's in it for them?

I use google voice forward to my  cell it's free they call once I hit block and the next time they call they get a disconnected message

If it's a cell I use mr block caller it's free they call it gets picked up and hung up and logged or goes to vm before I can answer it once I have the number enter in it and it will block them

Got to be smarter than them and not get mad get even hee hee

called through my company's phone system.  having our security guy look into it to see if we can get them blocked from our incoming calls.

I got a message from this phone number for a free trip to Costa Rica...  heard this bs pitch before, not interested.

RC POLL

Called from "RC Poll".  This was just an automated message asking me to please hold for an important call, then it was an automated message from "RC Poll" wanting me to answer survey questions.

This is just spammy telemarketing, not even from a live person.  They're calling my google number, which is not cool.

I received call from this number.I didn't answer it.Who the hell they are disturbing in the night 9:30 PM.

I received a call from this number, I didn't answer but they did not leave a message. The caller id showed RC POLL. Whatever that is.

Robo call to my Google Voice, transcribed by them as such:

He's all 100 dollar gift certificate from one of our sponsors for your time just press the keys on your telephone keypad for your answers. Please Press 1 now to participate and help. Rishi our country. Again, press one now and make a difference.

Identifies as RC POLL - one thinks they are polling for the election - quizz on POLITICAL issues - offers $200 "gift certificate"  - U ask who owns them,  they say "CRUISE LINES" asking what this has to do with Poll quiz on "issues" they hang up.

Call went to a phone.com account and said they would ask about changing the direction of our country.  So, I'm guessing Republican push poll to influence people's votes.
